Made me feel rebellious and like I was gonna explode from the inside out when I was 14. Not so much when main stream got a hold of green day. After Geek stink breath, it was over for me.

He would have been ex-communicated from the Chicago scene if caught there. He lied to his friends, picked up a fellow closet Green Day lover and headed to the Aragon. You can see him in a few shots on the left hand of the stage with bright blue hair, in all of his 17 year old glory.

That were in the prime of their performing days then because Billy Joe's voice was still very good at the time and his stage presence had gotten a lot better where he got the crowd more involved by saying heyyyyyyyyoooooo and not singing porch of the song and telling the crowd to sing I feel like 2005 through about 2007 or Green Day's best years of performing
