Well it depends on who you’re contacting. I work for one! You’d need to undertake detailed analysis, research and find the right people with the right need and quality them. Very tough!
When is the last time you did a cold call? What year, what was the economy like then? Were they really cold calls or warm leads? What is your close rate?
How do you go from the "could you help me I'm confused" into buy my youtube marketing? lol

Probably you're calling at a wrong time, try calling first thing in the morning, when they've just opened like 9.30am till 11am

Just go for it, even if you have nothing to sale. Do it for fun, and I swear to you after the first call your anxiety will disappear. Because you will realize that even if it’s go wrong, then nothing happens you still alive in your chair 😂

Exactly! Listen I’m 30 years experience - never ever ask how are you? Or how’s your day? Or ask their name! It’s corny old skool and immediately annoys them. I hang up every time

Never say "How are you doing today?". As soon as I hear that... I hang up. Eliminate "How are you doing today?" from your intro.

Agree, the only people who ask how you're doing today are your mates.......or cold callers, straight away I know you're not my mate, so the barriers start going up, it's a natural reaction. It's total insincerity. Does the cold caller even care how the prospect is today? of course not!
What you use than?
@@user-ov4xt3jz1c I use the direct no nonsense approach. "Hello, listen, this is a cold call, so if you want to hang up then that's not a problem, or give me 30 seconds to tell you why I'm calling you?"
It'll get one of 2 reactions, either a bit of a laugh and then permission for a further 30 seconds, or the phone will go down! Either way I'm happy. I've either got the prosects permission to cold call them which no longer makes it a cold call, or I've got someone off the line who doesn't want to talk to me in record time!
You cannot make a sale or earn money if folk won’t or don’t engage with you!
The first line being "I'm a little lost" sounds very weird and unattractive if you ask me.
Yes, I agree. Maybe the call receiver would say, "Okay, so why call me?" and then hung up.
