Awesome video, Patrick. Having a larger network nowadays is crucial. I'd say currently it's more worthwhile to find jobs through networking rather than applying to job posts. What's your take on it?

    Hi ,
Thanks for the video💯💯 , is it possible to be an SDR remotely ? I am from South Africa and we don’t have really great opportunities this side . Is it possible to work from a US company remotely ?

    Question:
I have a bachelors in forensic and a masters in human and health.
Watching my friends in SF working for tech companies and having freedom to travel, connect with people and much more. I got my Cisco certification a while back. looking at AE jobs I’m not sure if I go and rack up many certifications it’ll up my chances in getting hired.
I contacted my school to get a masters in marketing but was told by a counselor it’s best to get certifications.
So my question to you is it best to do certifications or school?
Another question: My friends have a well connection with their boss, recently got their colleague (who’s less experience) a job position as a AE will that land me a job ? Simply by knowing people from the inside .

Thanks for the message. I can't really comment on whether certification or school is better. It will depend on what you're studying in school and whether your network at university can help you get a good sales job. But I've also made videos on how to get a sales job even without any sales experience. If you demonstrate you can do the job well and have a good network, it will increase your likelihood of landing a good job. Hope that helps.

@@alexisj8652 brother, you don't need more qualifications. You need to network, network and network. And while you are networking, get a sales job.
