Just bought the one and seen it has a warning about leader (braid to fluro) that the knot shouldn’t be inside the eyes. Is this something I can ignore?
I have the one and a flyssa. The steez can handle much heavier lures like 1/2oz. The flyssa is more of a light action but has a great action and still enough back bone to catch bigger fish. I love them both.
flyssa is between the one and a NRX 901. I FIND The Flyssa in my hand more than the others. The 901 is dedicated Hair Jig rod. Flyssa Oakashira, spybait rod.
In my personal opinion (fished both rods) the One is way more sensitive. But it does feel a litte bit heavier in the hands. I the AGS Guides more than the recoil Guides from the 902. Both are great rods
lol, I’m the same but I wouldn’t call either of those reels entry level in any universe. The one thing I hate more is everyone slapping a Stella on a freshwater spinning pole. It’s heavy and expensive because it’s a salt water reel. Buy the vanquish instead or even the exist…at least that’s light. I’d still go with an airity over the exist though.
Any reviews on the daiwa steez real control rods series?
Since they are a JDM rod they are harder to get in the states. I would guess the Hook Up Tackle has something out about them

Any non smooth or abrasiveness on the eyes will wear them down but most people don’t have an issue with the FG knot
Get loon knot sense and use an fg knot.
@@jessieosborne3576 I tie an FG knot 14lb YGK SS112 to a long 8lb sniper leader. No issues going through guides.
How does the Flyssa compare with those two?

The Flyssa is much closer to a 901. In order of power I would put The One at the top then 902, Flyssa, 901.

Seems like a 902 is in my future. Flyssa was just a little light for what I was using it for but I love the rod length
I don't understand how anyone can put an entry level reel on a high end rod, my ocd will f kill me
I think entry level isnt the right word. I could have used an Ultegra or Crossfire 🤣
