It looks like it's only happening to the smaller UA-camrs and it's bullshit. It's basically saying that if you don't have over 1 million subscribers then you get screwed over by bs.
Damn, no wonder why the old you has just evaporated. Also, no wonder why you hate youtube now
Sorry to see this happen. It's not only YT's cryptic method of smiting people that's an issue, but also the fact that they decide to wait several years before doing so, just to fuck with people more lol
Darkkefka fuck em, you do you. That reaction on the blind play for #1 was priceless!
nah I love old YT, honestly I found Academia Caius harder than Lightning Returns Caius, but that's because I went after Caius last
"I will work on new Top tens" The only words I've wanted to hear from this channel for a long time.
Megamean09 me to
Megamean09 i'd watch any FF top ten kef makes
I found this guy like a year ago. I've spent that past year ignoring every last Let's Play, because fuck those, in the hopes of seeing some more quality top tens.
Gizamaluke from FF9 should've been an honorary mention! I remember playing the game the first time and kept losing about 5 times until I found out about recruiting Quina and the Tent Trick.
Why the hell is Square Enix so protective of the cutscenes from Final Fantasy XIII of all games? I thought a good chunk of people hated these games. Was it just because they sold well?
j Yep. And cause the algorythm is more broken than a basket of eggs that fell from the Everest.
How can you hate final fantasy?
Ff13 wasnt the best work. They could have stopped at 1 but then 2 confused people so they made 3 to end it. And part 3 made the lore even darker
ashley black that’s why I liked it.
@@AshePBlack lightning returns was shit
Number 2: if you don't have rydia in the party for the fight, it's an instant game over. as bahamut decimates your entire team with a boosted mega flare. Rydia is the key to the fight! Be sure you level her up! I think I saw a playthrough of that actually happening. Idk who did it, but they just went there, didn't put rydia in the fight and got decimated. And then had to start the whole fight all over again
Rikku: “ She’s not just jailbait, you know “. 😂😆 Nearly dropped my drinks there, new to your videos but damn you’re funny. 👍
Out of the final fantasy games I've played, the hardest storyline boss for me was probably Zeromus in FF4 DS. The final dungeon in FF3 DS was also pretty tough.
The Final dungeon of FF3 is insane (The Crystal Tower). You have to fight 5 bosses before you fight the final boss (Cloud of Darkness). Unless you have a job lvl. 99 Devout, with the Holy Wand. You're gonna have a bad time.
Well, in the DS Version it was easy at least.
Uh... Considering he was talking about using the Devout, I think he actually was talking about the DS version.
@@AkaTrios Not really, Cerberus is a very hard Boss.
I watched a speedrun of it the guy almost quit 😂😂 cloud of darkness is nasty
@@AkaTrios Eh, I've been stuck on the final boss in the DS version for almost a decade. I just don't have the patience to waste another two hours going through that dungeon for a battle I am not 100% confident in winning. Though between the save states of the emulator I played it on, and Ninja and Sage not being nerfed, I at least got to see the end of the game in some form. I liked the generic characters of 3 better anyway.
I’d like to see the Top 10 Plot Twists. Every game in the series has at least 1.
Some are pretty predictable. Others were shocking on the first playthrough.
Andrew Smith yes it would be very interesting
Number one is probably the ending of 13-2, knowing DK...
I love that you included carry armor from 7. Your awesome dude, keep it up.
Rikku was so helpful during my most recent FFX playthrough
I always thought Zeromus from FFIV was pretty hard because of Big Bang. I didn't lose but I definitely struggled keeping Edge and Rydia alive in the fight.
I remember it making the game lag super hard tho.
Zeromus is a fine honorable mention for this countdown, if not a good replacement for #10 in this video. Basically, if you come in underlevelled, you're gonna get your ass kicked by Big Bang and there's nothing you can really do about it. You need to be at least Level 60 or so before you even think of fighting him. You can use buffs, but he'll negate them with Black Hole pretty quickly. This means your characters need to be strong enough to tank Big Bang to the face while also being fast enough to deal big damage to him AND heal from Big Bang.
Oh, but wait, there's more. If you use White or Black Magic, he counterattacks with Flare, and that shit is already nasty as it is. That move will likely kill one of your characters while you're trying to recover from Big Bang, which is why I recommend you have enough agility AND HP to be able to deal with both before you fight Zeromus.
"you should have your ultimate abilities by this time"
oh...
“Here’s a perfect re-enactment. And you might wanna cover your ears.”
*gets pwned*
“AHHHHH!!!”
Barthandelus I was a breeze for me, but Barthandelus 2? Dear God, I was stuck on him for so long...
I beat the second fight on my first try, even though it was a drawn-out mess of me constantly healing debuffs.
@@davidgeorge1943 Yeah, I mean, he's not HARD, he just has a shit ton of HP and the debuffs WILL slow you down a lot.
great to see you back DK looking forward to more top 10s
#1 The best reaction and commentary ever!😂🤣😆 watch last till the end start at 19:45
Probably a similar reaction that most people had during that boss fight.
That fight was easy to me, I guess cause I maxed out my crystarium there and used Hope and Sazh first time. 😂😂😂 Gold on the reaction though.
MVP
The scream on destructo attack is probably the best content on youtube
Thank you, DK !!!
Love your content and Super
Mario RPG Armageddon Mod !!!
Thank you so much, hope your well, man
There are two things about Barthandelus. He's best fought by the best party at that point in the game, which is Lightning, Vanille, & Sazh. Can't believe how many people don't realise that. The combination of haste & offensive buffs from Sazh & defensive debuffs from Vanille just wreck the game. Against him, haste makes things infinitely easier.
Secondly, needing to grind isn't a bad thing. That area with all the platforms before him is one of the best grinding spots in the game. Everything you fight there drops valuable things to sell except the Thermadon. It's the perfect place to upgrade your weapon[s], because it's the last place for a LONG time you're going to actually be able to earn any real money.
I found Barthandelus much more difficult at Oerba.
well, just watch entry number 1
Seriously he totally is. Apoptosis is the main reason he's so much worse. As someone who has tried to speedrun this game, he's the only brick wall that keeps me from completing the run.
FUCK BARTHANDELUS
That bastard was insane on the 2nd encounter
@@killysnowsw I spent a whole night fighting the bastard. I quit the game after that. That was enough for me.
10 ten youtube copyright strikes number 5 darkkefka 🙄😃
Since the older version of this video is gone (fucking copyright!), I'll briefly post why Elder Wyrm isn't up on this list despite being clearly harder than the Demon Wall:
IT CAN BE SKIPPED.
Yes, you can actually bypass this boss by going through the Feywood to the south and looping around to the Paramina Rift. Just make sure to flee from the Level 40+ mobs in the area first.
If you decide to fight it, here's the synopsis:
This dragon is probably the biggest pain in the ass boss in the entire first half of the game. It does every status ailment you've encountered so far, including Confuse AND Oil. You practically need Esuna to deal with these, because otherwise, you're gonna be spending too much time healing and removing status effects while the Elder Wyrm shoots fireballs that can oneshot your party members. It also has a LOT of HP -- over 70,000, to be exact. So you're gonna need to invest a lot of time and recovery items for this fight. You'll likely have Larsa on your team, which will help a lot. Only problem is, his HP are pretty low, so he's going to be healing himself a LOT.
Of course, your main concern in this fight is Sporefall. This move throws every status ailment you know so far onto your party members, all at once. Unless you take the time to use Esuna and Handkerchiefs, anybody that gets hit with it is probably gonna die. Even worse, some statuses like Blind and Oil stick around even after death, so you're still gonna need to get those off your characters after reviving them. You can Silence the boss to make the fight easier, but you still gotta deal with that goddamn Sporefall attack of his. Quickenings aren't gonna do a whole lot here either, since he has so much HP. Be prepared to spend a LONG, LONG time with this fight.

Since the old vid was taken down, I'll repost what I remember of my comment on that vid:
Barthandelus is not difficult at all, and you don't even have to grind to beat him. You have Lightning as leader, but as long as you bring along Sazh and Vanille, who are undoubtedly your two strongest party members at this point, you'll be fine!
Party Setup: Lightning, Sazh, Vanille
Paradigms:
- Rav/Com/Rav (for chain building)
- Rav/Rav/Rav (for more chain building)
- Rav/Rav/Med (quick heals)
- Med/Rav/Med (emergency heals)
- Rav/Syn/Sab (starting paradigm)
- Com/Com/Rav (for massive stagger damage)
Start with Rav/Syn/Sab to begin building your chain, get as many offensive buffs as you can, and as many debuffs on Bart as you can. Once you've got your buffs and debuffs stacked, switch between triple ravagers and rav/com/rav to finish building your chain. Always make sure you've got Haste on. Switch to Com/Com/Rav after you stagger a part of him to quickly kill it. Repeat on all parts of him until he's dead!
I know I'm late to the party, but I was thinking the same thing.... rav/rav/rav into com/rav/com you can't go wrong... destroys everything. I couldn't believe when I saw him using sentinel lol.
Yeah no issues with anything story wise in ff 13. ff4 ds golbez was a bit of a pain, tay fight was not too bad. I go everywhere and explore everything and am know to massively seq break however. Blind PT of 5 nothing notable storyline wise though shinryu was rough. 9 storyline is super easy throughout, necron is irritating but not hard.
@@allenbocephus Same lol, there is literally zero benefit to using a sentinel in that fight! 😅 Haste is your friend~
@@TheOneTrueEfrate Only story fight I had trouble with in 13 was the fight with Orphan and his death spamming. I didn't feel like grinding out accessories to protect against death, so I sought help online and was told to use leader Hope along with Fang and Vanille. Can't recall the exact setup, but something to do with death prioritizing Medics and Sentinels. Basically don't use medic Hope unless medic Vanille is in play, just keep him in Syn/Rav while the girls debuff as Sabs. Worked like a charm!
I have yet to play 4 and 5, but 5 looks intimidating with all the grinding lol. Currently playing 9 but just beat disc 1, really enjoying it so far. 😊 Sorry to ramble!
All bosses in FFV!!! As FFV is my favorite in the series, I can 10,000% agree!
Yes, I have play over 100 hours to master all the jobs!
Some troublesome storyline bosses in FF2 and FF3:
Lamia Queen (FF2): A nasty surprise boss fought after returning from Deist. Likes to charm your party members and has a spell that can really screw you over if you rely too much on physical attacks.
Garuda (FF3): A lightning spamming asshole. This boss requires either some serious overlevelling or specific job-classes to beat. I hope you like using dragoons!
Cloud of Darkness (FF3): Final boss of FF3 and about fifty different kinds of mean. One tentacles spams Bad Breath (like a Malboro), the other tentacles spams lightning (like Garuda), and the Main Body sometimes uses a nasty full-party attack called Particle Beam. Take out the lightning tentacle ASAP! Trust me, you do NOT want to eat both Lightning and Particle Beam on the same turn.
Cerberus from FFIII DS is a nightmare too.
During my most recent playthrough of X I struggled with the Seymour Flux and the Spectral Keeper. Yunalesca was a long fight, but not hard because I had Rikku use Supernova
I didn't even remember the Spectral Keeper until your comment. I am pretty sure I one shot him, but Seymour Flux, nope, just nope. I hated that fight with a burning passion. Yunalesca mostly caught me offguard from how long the fight was, that and my first time fighting her, I did not have Holy.
Linkforlife199 Spectral Keeper is definitely not one-shottable. The thing has 52k HP and Bahamut’s OD can do like maybe a quarter of that at that point in the game.
@@evieklein bahamut can easily one shot him if you level up Yuna. The other storyline aeons and Yojimbo need upgraded celestial weapons to break the 9999 damage limit unlike Bahamut, Anima, and Magus Sisters.
Alexi Powell Right, Bahamut exceeding the damage limit I knew about, but taking Yuna down any path in the Sphere Grid other than her intended path in order to get the strength level to make that possible seems dangerous. How would this be achieved while also making sure she learns crucial spells before they’re needed (Dispel, Reflect, etc)?
@@evieklein it's your choice, I prefer to have Yuna actually be a secondary black mage so that she can actually contribute to the team and to the Don Tonberry grind
I shit you not your reason for playing ffx was my exact reason. Watching a mate get disciplined by Seymour flux, I then bought it and went to town. Completed it about 2p times since.
I think we need an updated version of hardest superbosses....
FFX Seymour: Your Hope Ends here!
Me:.............. Grand Summoning
Let me guess, it was cutscenes from FFXIII wasn't it?
Considering he had both Barthandelus and The Orphan on the list, as well as one of the Eidolons from XIII on the other list, I wouldn't be surprised.
yep.
Never understood squares hard on for FFXIII
Neither did I
Apparently so
Hey DK! I fucking love your videos and appreciate all the hard work you put in to them!! What is the name of the song at the beginning of all your Top 10s? Thank you so much, I’ve been following your channel since 2015!
The first Final Fantasy game I was exposed to was FFX on the PS2. I watched my brother every day in the summer go through it and at some points he almost rage quit because pf some bosses. I have to say the ones that gave him the hardest times were two boss fights, both were Seymour. The first one was the battle in Macalania. Now he made the mistake of summoning Shiva EARLY against the Guado before Anima showed up. The second tim was the battle in Bevelle. Now I learned from my brother’s mistakes, he had lost to Belgemine both times before Macalania so I made sure to beat her and made sure Kimahri was a thief, and when I came to those battles I won just by making sure to follow a specific strategy.
I think you’re hilarious. Def keep the top ten videos coming.
I mainly subscribed to to this channel for more Top Tens.
I think Seymour Flux is more remembered because of the long, unskippable cutscene right before him.
I saw my friend get stuck on it, so I told him to just overdrive every aeon before the battle and then summon those. He goes down super easy to those, despite banishing each after a single attack.
I agree so much about FF V's bosses.
To me the hardest ones were most of the bosses in FF V too, Lamia Queen in FF II and that same Golbez fight in IV (3DS).
one of your best videos
I believed from the start that Barthedelus would be the most difficult boss but I was surprised when I saw you posted his first encounter because I found his second encounter to be most difficult. I grinded to the max at the point and I had really hard time beating him
Do you remember if you were playing on 'normal' speed or 'slow' speed? I remember I was stuck on him for a few hours but then I changed the battle speed from 'slow' to 'normal' then I beat him without too much trouble.
@@anntakamaki1960 I don't actually remember the speed i was playing. What i remember s that i was counting on buffs and that was a huge mistake because he was debuffing quietly often and then i couldn't keep up with the damage he dealt to me. I struggled very much during second encounter.
The second encounter is a pain in the ass, I agree. But the first one is harder because of Destrudo which can wipe you out if you don't know how to foil it. The small heads do very little except slow you down.
Hey DK miss your top 10's. Congrats on the speed runs for persona . Any hope for more persona top 10 or kingdom hearts ?
The final boss of Final Fantasy 1 is difficult, but I've never lost to him. Maybe it's just because I'm getting better at RPGs, but he's not quite the headache that Seymore was, and having to watch that cutscene over and over for a week. The biggest challenge in FF1 comes from just getting strong enough to survive the random battles leading up to the bosses. Once you can get TO the bosses without wasting all your spells, you're pretty much good. Less of an issue in the GBA version since they took away the spell charge system and replaced it with MP.
Here is my list
1: Barthandelus. I. HATE. BARTHANDELUS!!
2: Zeromus
3: Penance
4: Omega Weapon ff5
5: Shinryu ff6
6: Zodiarc
7: Mysterious Girl
8: Minerva Crisis Core
9: Ozma
10: Finally!! Carry Armour.
shame about the CS dang square bots i may not be a sub but i still enjoy your videos from time to time heck i shared a few thanks to some info in them keep up the good work
Yunalesca and jecht aeon. You had to be level 99 and I'm not sure wep req. Or you had to be in 70s with zombie gear, tons potions and phoenix down and at least 1 ultimate weapon
Hey, Hoss. I will give you a tip about FFV. Master Monk and get the store ability. It really helps, especially with Monks and Ninjas who can attack twice.
Hey Darkkefka i actually didn't have any problems fighting Bartendulous abroad the palamecia bridge, i actually thought some of the cieth stone missions were even tougher anyway someone mentioned your UA-cam channel and thought i would check it out anyway a big thumbs up from me to you as well as my subscription to your UA-cam channel as well David owner and founder of Thrill Seeks from England
Barthandelus....I when I first fought him he bitch slapped my team so hard....damn it's bringing up my deep seeded hatred again
If you're having trouble with Caius, in my opinion, it's a timed fight. Guard his flurry of attacks while attempting to cast debuffs. Eventually he'll just stand there. Use chain boosting attacks to quickly stagger him, then go on the assault. you have stagger him fast though or he'll just restart his attack chain. It's not a fight you can win like you normally do. That's for sure.
As for FFXIII, all bosses aside from the last story boss are timed. This one and a few others are more noticable just because they take a lot of strategy to take down which takes a lot of time.
One phrase...."death awaits you"
This needs a remake after you finish FF3.
Garuda.
@@seabit253 Easy with dragoons, hard AF without them. I wouldn't rate it too high tbh
Ngl. #1 is still pretty accurate to this day. He’s one of the hardest bosses ever put into a video game. Fact
2 honorable mentions IMO:
Lady Yunalesca and Sanctuary Keeper.
Final Fantasy X
Lady Yunalesca was kinda difficult for alot of people. She has 3 forms, her hell bite attack does alot of damage AND inflicts zombie... (Double Dick Move)
Meaning you have to cure the zombie and then heal. Dont even think about using regen... Also she casts death/doom. Like Seymour, you're gonna want to overdrive all your Aeons.
As for the Sanctuary Keeper... hes difficult because: most people were unprepared for him first time around (the fight was kind of a surprise), those damn status effects suck, He has an extremely powerful group attack, and he casts haste on himself. Oh and good luck summoning. Yuna will usually die in one shot (so will her Aeons) OR because of those status effects you won't be allowed to cast anything. This fight can get out of control extremely fast. Youre going to be curing those status effects constantly. Not to mention he has an extremely potent heal for himself. I remember my friend not being able to beat him for 3 days. 😂
Played IX a couple of times and if I remember well, by learning every ability available for every character you can cover all possible status effects from Necron. Fight is a brezze then
Rafael Agostini Even doing that Necron can still hit you with them.
Ribbons are your only shot even then there's a few status effects you can't stop you can have Quina for angels snack but besides that white wind and big guard s/he's useless I prefer dagger for her trance summoning a maxed out thievery and you can have steiner vivi amarant Freya or eiko if you really want for your final party member
Speaking of which get dk have you still not played 1,2,or 3?
LOL I fucking feel your pain about the DS Golbez fight, for awhile I actually thought the game was broken and nobody could get past him! The first time I tried reviving everyone, then quickly realized the game expected you to beat him with only Rydia and Cecil. The problem was that my Cecil was a bit under leveled, so Rydia didn't have near enough HP to last more than 2 rounds. So I went out and killed off my party and let Cecil gain like 5 or 6 levels, then I returned ready to kill the bastard, and still kept dying. I died at least 15 or 20 times and was about to just rage quit because I was so fucking sick of killing all those dolls, watching the long ass cutscene where everyone died and then Rydia shows up, then dying anyways. Finally after what seemed like for fucking ever I was able to guess his first 2 shifts and actually hit him with ifrit and shiva, and both Rydia and Cecil were both under 50hp, but Rydia got her last shiva off, and when I heard that crash sound that plays when you kill a boss, and I realized I had finally passed that nightmare I literally ran through my house screaming, lol.
LMFAO! Dude right before you said it, I was thinking "every fucking boss in FF5."
For the demon wall, one steals a gladius from the lindur wolf and completely shreds its health with each hit. It is actually funny how many weapons you can get early in 12 once you get the dawn shard or steal from certain rare games.
Alex Agne
or just go trial mode lol
Freakin bartandelus...I had the strategy guide and still couldn’t beat first fight. Lot of grind there same with the second one, I’d argue is worse. I grinded so hard pre-Orphan and truly showed his third form it was a full on stomp!
Seymour 3 kicked my ass. Had to restart the file lol. Let's not even discuss Overdrive Sin...
Holy shit Seymour Flux is on the list lmao
hes hard but very doable. To be fair, all Seymour battles kicked my ass..
Great video man
Hardest storyline boss I fought was damn Lady Yunalesca. I didn't have have armor with deathproof and zombieproof, except one but was deathward. It was a pain
You should do a top 10 of most OP party members
I Found Chaos at the end of FF1 to be quite hard.
Not because he was strong but because he mostly used multi-target attacks while my main healer was a red mage.
if i had chosen the white mage, he would have been easy as pie.
How about top ten FF Songs? (Theme Songs, Battle Songs, City/Town Songs)
Damn and I really thought these were new top tens oh well I'll watch it again anyway
Yes there it is!! The FF7 arm boss! Soo true
Going through my first playthrough of FFV, you were *not* kidding about the bosses.
The first one to give me trouble was Soul Cannon. (Yes, I neglected to buy Lightning Scrolls at Lix until I got my ass kicked a few times.)
I maxed out my Crystarium before the first Barthandelus fight, can confirm it makes the fight easier.
Also can we talk about how terrible of an excuse "he gets easier once you max out the stats" is LMAO that's like saying Yunalesca is easy once you farm the sphere grid, or the FFV bosses are easy once you master all the jobs
Kef do us a favor and review the Spirits Within,i'd luv to hear your thoughts on it!
A few tricky bosses from personal experience on my first playthroughs were (in no particular order):
Ultimecia FFVIII (although I fought her with squall at Lv 67, all female character were about Lv 20)
Lady Yunalesca FFX
Heconteir FFXIII
and... that bloody mecha scorpion thingy in FFXIII, during the Stagger Tutorial at Lake Bresha after the party first become l'Cie. Gets me nearly every time. Not long after you have to do the gestalt fight with snow against the Scissoring Sisters... a tough start to a very easy game (barring a few painful exceptions).
Col Kent ya yunalesca was a harder boss than many of these simply because unless you know what's coming mega death is an instant game over.
Not necessary first time I beat her I had no way to heal Zombie and so the Zombie statut save me from Mega Death, Yunalesca is like one of the easiest boss in the game, put Reflect on let her put you Zombie and there is litteraly nothing threatning outside of Psycho Blast, Yunalesca is more kind of bullshit than hard cause it's actually better to NOT heal the Zombie statut which goes against most people's reflex.
@@nesoukkefka1741 fair point but it is still easy enough to burn her through her 1st stage without getting any zombie status thus an instant game over.
All Death is only in the third stage, second stage ALWAYS start with the attack that cause Zombie so unless you kill her second form before she even get a turn which is possible but I seriously doubt most first timer will be able to do it or try to do it, you can't miss the Zombie statut, really All death is just a first try trap once you know it's there there is no way you will not take action against it (or you just an idiot otherwise) and so one attack that only work the first time and will never ever work again is not something I call Hard.
While not a difficult story boss per se, the boss I have the worst memories of is Evrae in FFX. To be fair, I was under leveled whenever I tried fighting him, and trying to level up using the enemies in the airship didn’t help. I had to restart the game a couple of times because of this boss, and it taught me the importance (and annoyance) of level grinding, as well as making me actually learn how leveling up in X actually works. So yeah, not an actual difficult boss once I was strong enough to actually fight it, but one that gave me so many problems.
Careful of the strong crack of the sphere grid once you learn it
In FFX the sphere grid is your best friend! Just make sure you have everyone on the right track and use it as much as possible, makes the game 10x easier!
@Darkkefka you can get FF3 on DS why dont you try it?
SHUG0225 you can also get it on your phone
Everyone else: "Waaahhh, Barthandelus is so hard!"
Me: "I mean it took me a few attempts, but it wasn't THAT bad... Took him out my... 3rd(?) attempt on my first playthrough."
I distinctly remember throwing my controller because of Seymour Flux when I was ten. Up until then I was ok for the most part. Nowadays, I def think he’s not too bad. 😂😂😂
There are two types of people: those who think Seymour Flux was the hardest boss in 10, and those who think it was Yunalesca.
The correct answer is Yunalesca. Flux isn't too bad if you stock up on Holy Waters. Yunalesca can smoke you even if you're prepared and know what's coming. Make one mistake, here comes a poorly-timed Mega Death and you're toast.
Agreed yunalesca was deff harder. Seymour flux is easily cheesed
Right!! Yunalesca is easily the toughest fight in X!
@@thekeyestosuccess *dark aeons have entered the chat ;)
Barthadelus took me nearly an entire day to defeat.
I was watching this while grinding for Seymour flux
haven't seen you upload in a while.
i think an honorable mention is Ark from FF9. He's perfectly reasonable...'IF', you have clear-headed to prevent confusion. Problem is, there's no indication that you need it. No real enemies up until this point in the game use confuse style attacks. the trek to oeilvert has powerful enemies, but nothing you can't handle. Inside you face enemies that use silence and stone a lot (and die to soft potion). But there is NO indication you need clear-headed. And to go through all of oeilvert, make it to ark, have him wipe you then have to do it again...
What's more if its your first time you probably didn't learn the ability as you never had a need for it, so you have to grind to get it. Or, god forbid, you make it to the forgotten continent with no gear that teaches it and your party doesnt know it. Some clue, ANY CLUE, that the boss uses confusion would be nice!
Honnestly Confusion is just one of if not the most annoying statut effect in pretty much any Turn Base RPG, so honnestly at this point I don't take any chance and as soon as I see a way to get immune to it I make my number 1 priority to learn it, cause at this point it's a cliche there is always ALWAYS that 1 fucking boss that will rely on Confuse to fuck you up.
I just beat number 1 and searched for hardest bosses and am surpised to see him in first place. I am still kind of new to the series, only played the original 7,10 and now 13. I will say i also hated the fact you could only control one character at first, but this battle made me apreciate the battle system more. It,s different, but it is fun when you have enough challenge. This boss was a bit too much though.
Barthandelus actually isn't hard, DK is just horrible at FF13. I beat Barthandelus second try with literally no grinding at all. Good paradigms go a long way, and that's all it is.
UA-cam never notify me about your videos! I pressed the bell and everything! such bullshit!
For Barth in FF13 it's a lot easier if you use Sazh's haste for everybody and Vanille with deprotect. Lightning Vanille Sazh gives you a good fighting chance against him with COM/COM/RAV RAV/RAV/RAV, COM/SYN/SAB, switching to MED/SYN/MED for fast healing
I always used Sazh and Vanille. Talk about damage. It sucks not having a Sentinel, but in this fight, you don't need one as much.
Man, I was stuck on that Seymour for like, two years. He's no joke. Necron killed me the first time, but I think he's infinitely easier once you know what to expect. I just make myself immune to as many status effects as I can and everything's fine. I think Cloud of Darkness from III has gotta be the worst, by virtue of requiring you to go through like, two hours of dungeon again if you lose to her, 'cuz save points didn't exist yet.
So DK, what have you been up to?
I don't mean to brag, but I totally do because GODAMNIT, I AM PROUD. I've recently managed to beat Barthandelus on a no No Crystarium run, but DAMN, it was soo tough, yet soo much fun.
It's a lot of grinding, but if anyone is looking for something to do, I highly encourage it, Final Fantasy XIII has a lot of cool gimmicks and tricks that make for a really fun gameplay loop when the paradigm system is pushed to it's limits that you couldn't otherwise get doing a normal play-through.
Seymor Flux was the most difficult Final Fantasy Boss I've dealt with in any of the games personally. It's not bad now, but the first play through when I was in like 8th grade that thing gave me nightmares.
I'm missing Ultimecia with her one shots, remove party members, deplete all mp, 1hp attacks and multiple forms. Hard, even with the right junctions equiped.
I miss these top ten videos
You have to play the FF3 3ds remake a couple of bosses wouldve made this list easily.
ProfessorSpade like that one chicken boss where you had to abuse the Dragoon class or be faced with death by lightning
Hein still pisses me off.
Inb4 Seymour Flux
EDIT:of course he was in here lol,fck that boss
ethereal mayhem I just fought Seymour Flux yesterday and I hated every minute of that fight.
The PK Boys yeah I was a FF pleb my first ff10 time through so I raged so much.
ethereal mayhem It's my second playthrough and Seymour Flux is somehow even harder that the last time I fought him lol.
ethereal mayhem of course he's such an ass lol
That's funny, a friend was struggling with Seymour too. He was underlevel, and with almost no inventory. I beat it for him that was hard but very fun.
How did you get Energy blast before getting the airshio?
For seymour flux, I always just used double cast combined with flare with most aeons except bahamut
DK there is typo on one of them at 9:32 it says final fantasy 12 not 13 for orphan
For Rosa and Cecil to cast Ultima, you need to Twincast for both of them at 100% Sync and have at least 99 MP
I don't understand why they're doing copyright strikes on these games. A lot of these games 13 included have been out for a long time. If you haven't played Final Fantasy 13 or any of the set, you probably won't. You probably heard about how terrible 13 was and it probably kept you from wanting to play the game. The copyright strikes make no sense and it seems like they're being select with who they strike and who they don't. I don't comment a lot but I've known you on UA-cam for a while and I rooted for you because it seems like you're not getting a good break and it seems like they're always coming down on you. Keep up the fight and do what's best for you!!!
I have a perfect top 10 list top 10 most useless confindants in Persona or Top 10 best girls in Persona (playable or confidant). Think about it 😆
I had the hardest time fighting Neo Exdeath. He was literally IMPOSSIBLE for me to beat I swear. Probably the hardest final boss I've ever fought in a game.
You need to master many jobs and level up at least 50 to defeat him
The last boss on the list, Bar something. They do have treasure spheres with Rune Bracelets. Sure they are out of the way but are really with putting on Lightning at the time. At least, they seemed to really help in easy and normal mode. I'm not sure what difficulty you play at thought DK
