You're a good communicator. Easy to understand what you're talking about. Comfortable to listen to. Been canoe and kayaking for 45yrs so thanks fit the review on a foldable. I've never tried one but I will.

Thanks for this video, Cosmo. I love kayaking, and have always wondered if folding kayaks would hold up well and were worth the trouble. This was very informative, not to mention beautiful scenery! Thanks for taking us through the rapids with you, too. I am too chicken for that. I enjoy toodling around on a lake in Maine, where there are sometimes wind and waves, but no rocky rapids to maneuver.

Fantastic! I did retirement the same way. Saved up cash to buy the trailer. No debt is wonderful. I built up my "system" of kayak, bicycle and other gear. Now I am getting a great return on my investment. In y opinion - You are on the right track. Thanks for watching =Cosmo
Duct tape if a scuff is too deep . I just came back from Delaware water gap. Really good insight on how practical a investment. And not many extra parts to worry about forgetting.

Nice work cosmo, I love to kayak too! I got a 17' fiber touring but I can't take that on a work trip. A mix of rivers and bays so a versatile boat is what I'm looking for.

Looks like a great trip. You didn’t have to worry about the racoon : he washed his hands, kept a social distance and wore a mask. Did you bring all your water or filter from the river and if filtered, pump type or gravity. Thanks for the video, I enjoy them all.
Hi Roland. I did bring water with me. Water is very clean on this section of river. I also brought a pump filter, plus Miox chemical purifier that is no longer sold plus a UV purifier. If all that failed I could boil! None of the above addresses industrial pollution but I was not worried about that on this trip. Thanks for watching =Cosmo

That kayak just slices through the water. Looks as good as any regular hard kayak I have seen. How is it with stability? I am used to my Old Town Vapor 10 kayak which is extremely stable and I was not once worried of it flipping even in rough waters.
I bet it gets really dark out there at night? Could be a great chance for some stargazing if you had a portable telescope to bring along.
At 16 feet the coast will be faster than a 10 foot boat. Stability is good on the coast. No issues for me. I love camping and looking at the Milky Way! I have used my binoculars for astronomy. =Cosmo

Love this. Been thinking about this foldable. Have you heard of the tucktec foldable?. I'd like to see something on that one as it packs up a little smaller it seems to me and is lighter to carry which comes in handy for a not so strong Senior gal...

Enjoyed this video! Wondering if a double wide piece of tyvek would work to double over your sleeping bag to keep dew off your bag?
Tyvek top would work., I should have been better prepared. Its easy to make a Biv Bag to put the sleeping bag in with Tyvek and some tape which I have done but I did not bring it. Many solutions. Thanks for the video! I took my Bay ST Oru kayak camping on Lake Powell last year. Have you tried a Pakayak? I ended up trading my Oru in for Pakayak. Haven't taken her camping yet, but I cannot wait!

Im looking at buying this same Oru model used for $1100 and enjoy the rivers of Maine during this quarantine get back to nature time of life.. This has been a great general video to introduce me to little tricks to kayaking and kayak camping as well as info about this boat I may buy. Did you find that the top seam lets in any water and gets your stuff wet at all or is that not really an issue? Any great spots along the midcoast (Portland to Bowdoinham-ish) youd recommend for a trip like yours?
I like the bat. It needs to be treated gently but its durable. No leaks on the top seam. I think the Alagash is the popular wilderness river in Maine. This boat is fine for coastal kayaking. Hi I got a Tucktec and a Pakayak, both have an average speed of 5km/h , I wonder how fast you can go with your Coast XT. I bought a Pakayak, 14ft long, thought it would’ve faster than Tucktec but be a of the heavy weight I couldn’t go too fast with it.
