yes! i love them its not too intense you dont really need weights or other extra things and they are nice and easy! about 2 years ago i went from a jean size 9 to 5 in less than 2 months with fitness blender because everything else was so overwhelming!

same here! I lost weight so fast with fitness blender. Only after a couple months my waist has gotten way smaller and I can fit into my old shorts again. And it's not like I'm being too hard on myself or anything, I eat healthy and do these workouts like 3 times a week.

audri g! i would do the same! every other day work out and just slowly started eating healthier but eating healthier came easier that time because my body had the desire to just be healthy lol

The most common mistake I see beginners make is that they tend to start off with workouts that are way too difficult for their fitness level. This usually results in the individual either injuring themselves, or making themselves quickly hate exercise. Both make it risky that a person abandons their exercise routine for a prolonged period of time, or giving up all together.
Think of it this way; you should be exercising through your entire life. Your. Entire. Life. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Be willing to pace yourself. It only "works" for as long as you're actually doing it, so be sure that your mindset is in it for the long haul. Have enough faith and investment in your health that you allow yourself the time and patience that you need & deserve. This is not to say that you shouldn’t work hard. You should. And honestly, with some time, you will highly likely learn to love it. But in order to get there, you have to train smart. Read more @ goo.gl/M8U3Rt

100% agree + it is very good after being ill + on some days when you simply don't have enough energy for more. I called it "depend on day" . I'm doing workouts for 13 years (4-5 times a week 45 - 90 minutes) and sometimes advance sometimes very begginer. Sometimes only gentle yoga. It doesn't matter, the important is to try do the best but only in a range body allows.

For anyone who's just starting their weight loss\fitness\health journey: In January 2018 I decided to make a plan and lose 100 lbs in a year. I started with working out once a day. This video was my 'hard day' workout when I started, I could barely get through it the first time. Now, it's October and I've lost 83lbs and this workout video is actually one of my rest day workouts!

I love this video. As someone that has survived several strokes it's difficult for me to find videos that I actually keep up with and do most of the moves. I have limited range of motion and very little strength on my left side as well as poor coordination. My doctor has recommended cardio but I find most videos are way too difficult for me, even the low impact. I was so excited when I finished the workout. I will be doing this video every day!!

This is probably the best beginner fitness video I've found. The exercises are easy and include dynamic stretching along with moderate muscle building and light cardio. And the pace is fantastic-nothing repeated or long enough to discourage a beginner or person with limited energy. Thank you!

Natasha, the best way of telling if you're ready for something more difficult is to recognize that the beginners workouts aren't as hard as they once were and attempting one of the more difficult exercises. If you do that and the more difficult exercise it too difficult, then keep doing beginners exercises until you can bump it up. You could also try mix matching between the beginners and the more difficult exercises that you can do.

I have been an avid supporter of yours for years, but during Ramadan, I stopped working out due to feeling tired and weak all the time because of fasting. After Ramadan, my arthritis flared up because of the cold weather. Long story short, this is the first workout I’ve done in over 2 months, and even though my joints creaked throughout and it hurt, I’ve managed to finish it💕 Thanks so much Fitness Blender 🥰

Thanks, guys. This is exactly what I needed right now! I've been seriously slacking off for months now, not sure why, but I definitely lost my workout mojo. A lot of the videos I loved before are a bit much right now as I've lost some endurance and strength (see slacking off comment). I just get frustrated and mad at myself that I let it go! But this was a good one to do and feel like I accomplished something rather than a reminder that I LOST positives I had before. Maybe this video, this day, will help get me unstuck again and I'll be back to that point in a few months. If I stick with it, I know I will.

Made the mistake starting with your high intensity work outs, I didnt make it through half of it and I almost cried defeated. I'm only 4"11 and I'm 3 pounds away from 150! When I started doing this I found more time to work on some weights and my elliptical trainer. Paired with a low calorie diet I lost 5 pounds on my first week! I still have a long way to go and I'm excited for more!

Thank you so much for doing this low impact work out. I was hurt on the job and during my healing time I've gained over 30lbs. and i begun to feel horrible about my self. Then I remembered some years ago I used to watch you both and work out. I wasn't sure if you had any workouts that I could do because i'm still not 100% but i saw this and did the work out. It was such a good feeling to work out and not feel like i'm aiming at an unreachable goal. Thank you so much for giving me hope and help.

    Hello folks:
Just wanted to say that I started with this workout as an off-day workout when I was nearing the end of a cardiac rehab program after a quadruple coronary bypass graft (major open heart surgery). It was the perfect way to ease into a home workout, as it makes it possible to start very light, shallow, and slow with the movements, and then gradually deepen the movements and speed up as one becomes stronger. This was really key for a body that was recovering from major surgery (I checked it out with my doc and the rehab folks beforehand, BTW). I've now graduated to some of the next-level-up workouts, but keep this one as a lighter/recovery workout when needed. It's the perfect end-of-day stressbuster. For what it's worth, I'm very grateful for what you've made available. It's played a big role in helping me recover and keeping me going with a much healthier routine.
    Mark in Minneapolis, MN

I know this video is super old so I doubt anyone from the FB team is going to read this, but I truly appreciate videos like these. Before I was injured at work and hurt my neck/back, and then diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I used to love doing all of your HIIT workouts and was in great shape thanks you. Sadly, I can’t do those videos anymore. I was really depressed for a long time, feeling like I was just a complete failure. So I tried to focus on doing what I could to stay as healthy as I could. So videos like these really make me feel less broken. ❤️ I wish there were more like this to chose from that were newer and different. I feel like maybe you guys focus a lot on the able bodied crowd, which is cool, but don’t forget you have a lot of die hard, long time fans (2011 here!) that can’t work out at the level others can. I love longer, more gentle videos like these because they make me feel like I’ve accomplished something and add some relief. Please make more! ❤️ Thank you.

I'm in no way, shape or form a beginner. But sometimes, this is the type of workout you need. Maybe it's the first one in the day. Maybe it's the only one. Sometimes you just need that good workout that will make you sweat a little but won't make you think of it as too hard or too much work. There, I have just completed a workout and that's that. I can move on with my day and go on to do other things. Tomorrow I'll do it again, and maybe challenge myself. But today this is more than enough. Go through the motions, get the job done. It's as if you were a writer, a writer must write everyday. If it's 10 words or 10 pages, it's up to you. :)

Kelly, honestly thank you so much for workouts like this. This was my first workout in a two months. I had been actively working out for over a year, but I've been going through some difficult times. I didn't have time nor energy to workout and even if I did, I was so stressed and had a lot of on my mind that I couldn't make myself do something. That changed today. I can say I feel a lot better, although this workout was a psychically tough for me. I feel like I lost all the progress I've achieved and I'm starting from zero once again. It's going to be difficult to get where I was, but I feel motivated now and I'm glad I can start again with videos like this ♥

It's still too difficult for me right now and I hope that working out with videos like this 3-4 times a week is already going to make a tiny difference.

From a former runner and kick boxer, I feel you. I've had breast cancer, severe DJD in my spine along with a bulging L1 disc and a busted knee (arthroscopic removal of cartilage). I use Fitness Blender's 4 week Low Impact program (It's $10) along with other you tubers like Jessica Smith, Pop Sugar, and Linda Woolridge to still do quality workouts without compromising my aching old joints :) . Good luck and know there are others out here on the same path. I'm only 45!

Perfect! Taking a new approach to working out. Instead of doing 3 intense days a week (which I would stick to for a month or two then fall well off the wagon for 6 months) I decided to work out everyday *but* give myself easy days. From this I discovered that forming the habit is the most important part of fitness. 4 months into my new exercise regime and I am not bored! First time for everything. Thanks FB!

I'm by no means a "beginner" to exercise. I lost 20 lbs a few years ago doing Tony Horton's workouts and went back down to 110 lbs. However, late last year, after months of putting on weight while still doing HIIT and weight training workouts, etc, my twin and I were advised by our doctor that we have entered perimenopause! That certainly explains the constant fatigue, stiff joints, sleeplessness, and just overall unwellness for want of a better word. Sometimes, even with the simplest workouts I feel like a beached whale! I've found myself going back to low impact workouts, and although most days I'll do low impact/high intensity, there are days like today when I just don't have the energy...mental or otherwise, to do that. Thanks to you Kelli, I've finally found a great workout that meets my need to "move", yet not have to move too fast or hard. 😄

This felt good today. Haven't been able to exercise for a few months due to DDD, herniated disc, etc. Then my IBS flared up a couple weeks ago. Finally decided to do a workout today and I'm so glad I had this in my line up. Not even close to where I was months ago, but it really felt good to move again. September 12, 2017

I thought this was a really good work out, yes its not fast past or really physically draining but it involves a lot of different ways of moving (I think there weren't any possible ways to move that weren't covered) so really good for 'ironing out the kinks' and also quite a bit of balance and coordination involved, so good for being aware of your body and how you move.

Every time I do this workout and Kelly says "you don't have to listen to me the whole time" I think: I'd much rather listen to you Kelly than some music. Kelly and Daniel's voices to me trigger feelings of getting healthier, having a positive attitude towards exercise, not being intimidated by gyms and "gym people" and being kind towards oneself. I literally feel love towards these two ❤️

my 10 year old daughter and I have tried a lot of video workouts lately. some were called beginner but the instructor did these "show off" yoga poses that we couldn't possibly do as beginners, some just called out moves but gave no encouragement or alterate moves to stay in the routine. your work out keep us interested, offered moves we could actually do (an look forward to trying the more challenging moves as we progress), and really motivated us to come back and do it again. THANKS!!

I love this one.I am a 58 yr. old female with different health issues due to bone degeneration. I also have cholesterol problems. I have been ordered to do a cardio workout everyday. I have been working out with you for almost 6 months and I have lost some weight and I am much stronger...We will see soon how well I have done with the cholesterol... It won't be the lack of a great trainer just a bit of cheating with burgers and ice cream. ha Kidding I have been very good and you have really helped. I thank the Lord for finding you. I tried the gym with my daughter and I am not a gym person. Now it is impossible due to I am care giver for my mom so it is hard to get a few minutes to workout some days much less driving to a gym. She has gotten use to me doing high knees while I grab something for her. Thanks again. I can see me doing this every night the cool down is very relaxing and thank you so much for the easier and harder versions. Sometime I have a good day and I can do a tad harder for a few and you make me feel so good about what I can do and never disappointed with what I can't. Sorry i didn't mean to write a book. This chapter is complete. ;D You are Great and very special!!!

So greatful for this, Daniel and Kelli. I work with many people who are brand new to formal exercise and this is the truest beginner routine I've ever found. It hits all the domains of exercise - strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance . 40 min on a bike , treadmill, or elliptical could never do that. And teaches the fundamentals that you'll need for any more advanced exercise: core engagement, breathing, using a full range of motion, modifying! You too deserve a nobel prize! :)

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. It is spelled YOU not U. There should also be a comma after the name of the person you are addressing, and how about some punctuation at the end of your sentence. One more tip: Don't be a douche. Typos can happen to anybody; this is a fitness channel, not an academic one.

I used to not be able to do push-ups at all, but then I started doing the bench press. I had to start with just the bar at first (which is just 45 lbs, there's a lighter one at 25 lbs if that's too much), and was able to work up to lifting 90 lbs and being able to do a push up! I'm not a professional or anything, so maybe this won't work with everyone, but it definitely worked with me so I figured I would share :)

    • @Missmary852

Brandy Langie you need to do arm and core workourts to build strength for the pushup.also, lowering your body fat helps.when you do pushups you have to lift your body weight with your arms so the lighter you are the better.in general pushups are a result of working out your entire body.
