I think a lot of people were having trouble dealing with it at the wall and getting mixed. That being said the move really isn't that fast or hard to see, they should've left it alone.

Nina: • 4,3,4,3 and all of its variations were removed • uf,d+3,4,3 and all of hopping kick strings were removed (nobody’s gonna miss 😂) • wr, b+1 was removed • wr, 4,3 was altered • 3,d and 4,u were removed (they smushed together the entire string, 3,d, 1+2 into 3,2 and 4,2 for the left side. Though you can hold down after 3,2 or 4,2 to force crouch canceling the second hit) • qcb 2+3 some of its variations were added to qcf,1+2 grab (it’s changed to f+2+4 or qcf, 2+4), those variations are arm break, double arm break and falling arm break. Losing 4,3,2 actually really fucking sucks. That's her punish for Xiaoyu's Roo Kick from Cali Roll 😭 She also used to be able to go into chain grabs from her reversal if she parried a left punch, which she can't anymore. It used to be a really funny way to cheese a round if you caught a jab haha. But it's gone in T8 💔
Jack also lost the FC f1 strings (one of the strongest CH launchers in 7) and the old u1 punch that used to be the starter for his old 10-strings that he lost mid-Tekken 7

Lars' move from the flip at 1:15 was also repurposed for the Limited Entry stance. It's LEN 1, I think. Oh yeah, and he lost the stomp from neutral. It's now DEN 3+4.
The last two hits of Jack-8's FC d/b+1,1,1 would be Jack-6's old b+1,1 from Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Prototype Jack also used it in the latter.
I totally forgot jack's df2 had an extension 😅 Glad they changed, his fc db1 though will be missed it was going to be a perfect ender for jack with how bounds work on walls now...........
The pathetically made the learning curve way smaller. This makes the pro law players who worked hard to master him meaningless to an extent. They also destroyed King completely by removing his mixups. They made fff and easy command to execute from point blanck. It seems the casuals are more important than the core fan base now. And don't give me the "it doesn't matter because pros will still be better". They literally have destroyed a games identity. None of the things I mentioned will be impressive and unique now because every Joe can do that shit now.
99% of people who bought tekken are not serious about the game. I think business wise they want to sell more copies is OK to me. But I don't get why they take out moves aren't even broken and these moves has some use in some situation.

Xiaoyu losing BT1,4 seems so wrong. I haven't played Tekken in a few years, but I remember using that move a lot for BnB combo routes. I hope that she didn't lose any other moves

He's more of a hesitation type character, will he do that move or not? Will he finish the string or go to another stance. This style doesn't work once the opponents are experienced

I feel Street Fighter 6 lacks smoothness Street Fighter 5 had as well! 6 has great gameplay and the characters look great and have unique styles, but the animations don't feel the same as V :(
Seems like with tekken 8, we can all start fresh in away... knowing most moves are gone and we gotta relearn some of the moves aswell as juggles and combos giving new players a chance to keep up with old school players...
Why do I have a feeling that Nina is weaker in T8? Her butterfly ws, 1, 1+2 used to tailspin and good as a wall carry tool. Now replaced with a gun shooting! Also her df, 1+2 which used to wallsplat and ballerina spin the opponent leaving her at a whooping 20+ on hit. Now no more ballerina spin nor the advantage. Come on Bamco Nina was already rarely seen in tournaments and not so strong in T7, and now she's worse💔💔💔

Paul is still missing some stuff that is not included in part 1. B+1,2 is replaced from Tekken 7 and ancient WS1 punch is replaced with WS1,2. Nice video though. It makes me laugh how they remove certain moves but , "generic" u+1 and / or u/f+1 is still in the game. That awkward Tekken 3 jump punch that is 100 % useless and looks ugly. Leroy, Claudio and Jun are somehow blessed with that crap.

Threy removed an absolute crapton of King's grapple chains too, like the Cobra Clutch > Sleeper combinations.
King's F+1+2(Hold) will be missed. You can easily rob opponents with it and it was funny as hell.
Doing it at the wall then side stepping and ground throwing them as the fall always felt incredible.

I think because of the complexity of the heat mode the developers wanted to make moves easier to execute. Law's DSS is perfect example.

She lost her UB 3+4 backflip and transition to AoP. It's now UB 3 and always goes into the stance

They did it in Tekken 7 Too. He used to have F 1+2+2 in previous Tekkens to 7 and it was removed in 7( I like it in Ttt2 and 6 to confuse People).
