My #1 tip to achieve is to verbalize my fear with someone who really knows me.

Yo! Solid stuff! Totally relate to being hesitant on putting content out due to not thinking it's good enough. I've been putting the "final touches" on an album for the past 6 months lmao. It always seems to be the start or the end of a project that is the hardest to get through.
And it's not even only musicians that struggle with it. I had a conversation with a friend of mine that does physical art like paintings and sculptures, and he said he deals with the same stuff; lacking motivation after you put a bunch of time into something you care about. I guess that's just how artist's brains are wired.
Anyways, I don't have the answers to how to be more consistent in quality of art, nor do I think my brain, or any other artist's brains, will figure it out. But I do know that sitting around waiting for something to randomly happen is never a good option. And that's been my mentality. Progress might be slow, and the results might not be what you want them to be, but pushing towards something is more rewarding than doing nothing.

I fall into the “IT NEEDS TO PERFECT OR ITS AWFUL” mentality. Then I sit down, do nothing, “think” about all the plans for the future without taking any action steps 😅
