So you need a masters degree to get into an international school? And certification?

Case by case! So in my instance I did not need a masters or certifications. I do not believe my school is “accredited” by the Japanese government and possibly when I don’t need to have those qualifications.
If you want to get into some of the more prestigious schools (most likely accredited) that pay more than ¥450,000 per month then those are the schools you’ll want to aim for, but they will most likely require the higher education and certifications!
Thanks for watching and let me know if you have anymore questions!!

@rickyrayreid i see are you sure your school was an official international school i keep hearing how Japan is lenient with these titles, It happened at a school I worked at in Korea as well that had the name international school but was no different than ekiawas

@@jonathansakura From my research (I could be wrong, please correct me if so!) by using Jcis.jp (Japan Council of International Schools) which seems to be one of the leading authorities for accreditation. They have a list of only 29 “International” schools that are accredited/members all across Japan, from North to South.
So I think you are correct in saying that the international school title has an extremely relaxed use because there are absolutely wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more than 29 international schools across Japan!
Honestly I don’t mind if it’s fully accredited or not, as long as quality, and care for students education is there. A small school can be incredible or AWFUL but the same stands true for a larger institution in my opinion.
I enjoy teaching and want to progress further in the career a bit, but I have other dreams of opening up my own music lesson business and doing UA-cam on the side!
      What are your thoughts?
I love the questions and conversation!
