Thanks man! And YES seriously the most sturdy backpack I’ve ever seen or felt. The bag before this this was a nice “North Face” bag which was nice but had no structure (rigid shape). I would take the Flyby Ultra any day, hands down!
Ah! I see! You mean another zipper in the main pocket right? Just in case it doesn’t fall out? That’s a good idea! They should make that change for sure.
Considering one of these for my pedalboard (Pedaltrain Metro 16 should fit well in that main compartment) & other gear... any idea how this compares to Mono's pedalboard bags in terms of the padding on the sides and between sections/compartments? Think it would sufficiently protect more expensive gear in that main pocket?
100% would be great for you! From front to back it has a ton of padding. Especially in the middle section sleeve and separated back portions where you’d put a laptop. The side portions have a little less padding but extremely durable and tightly woven material that will definitely protect whatever you have in there. When I moved to Japan I used this bag for all my expensive gear. Apollo interface, camera, MacBook Pro, mics, Nintendo switch, etc… and didn’t worry about it one bit! Hope this helps! @@joshpetermann I think you’ll love it! Honestly if mine broke for some reason today I would pick up another instantly, it’s that good! When you get it let me know whatcha think!
Hello! I haven’t heard of Booq Bags before but I just checked them out, they look like incredible products too! I don’t have any experience with them so I can’t say much about the quality, but I have been using my Mono backpack everyday ever since I’ve got it. Booq looks like it’s absolutely on par with Mono stuff though. I use Mono cases for everything and my oldest case is 5 years old and it’s still perfect! If you get a Booq or Mono backpack please let me know your thoughts!
Great review!
Thank ya so much! And thanks for watching! 👏🏻😁
Nice review man!
Thank ya! I appreciate it! Let me know if you pick one up and your thoughts on it!
That’s a sweet pack! Does it seem as tough as they say? Also, do you have a number 2 choice for a pack? Great review.

So many pockets! Oh the places you'll go
I’m like Dora the Explorer out here!
It is almost perfect, but if I jut put down my laptop in the second backpack, I should open two bags with two zippers.

How does this compare to a booq bag. Quality wise.
