Great video and great flight! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially being from Nz and actually being at those airports it’s awesome to see how well they modelled.
Great to see this: the workhorse of the AirNZ fleet (since they canned the jets into almost all NZ airports :( ). The Q600 too of course for the smaller places. BTW since there are no air bridges or tugs at most NZ airports, we often have the door away from the terminal...so lots of long walks ont he tarmac are usual :)
Could you tell me where you get the checklists for all the aircraft you use from? Mainly want to find for PMDG 737-800 and FENIX A320 because I would like a checklist showing full startup and shutdown in those planes!
They didn't have the very, very distinctive high-pitched whine---engine running, whining noise for about a minute, then prop starts spinning :) I guess it's the gearing joining the engine shaft to the propeller drive...or something
@@Caddac112 I apply aileron trim to compensate. Just wondered if it's a trait of the aircraft or a glitch. Very hard to know since there was no release guidance.
@@karlnixon5037 Good stuff. In the actual plane I often end up using aileron trim with that tendency to want to roll left. Props spin clockwise together which helps that tendency. Once the autopilot engages she is good to go. Hopefully more guidance comes out in the next while!

Is there an option to place a circle around a waypoint like on the CRJ and A320?
Some people have found that this aircraft has a tendency to roll/steer left - have you found this to be the case? And if so, how did you remedy it?
I haven't actually.
The autopilot has auto rudder trim and aileron trim on the ATR72-600.

Are you done now? Channel finished?
No, but I'm mostly streaming on Twitch at the moment.
First!
