    Great insights on overcoming business stagnation! A key tactic often overlooked is leveraging existing clients for referrals; satisfied customers can be prompted to introduce you to potential leads, which typically converts higher than cold outreach. Remember, it's not just about finding new clients, but maximizing the potential of your current network.

    To also quote Alex Hormozi, you also have customers in the most unlikeliest of places. Even if you do not have a million-scale fold audience, your contacts in your phone, your social media followers on your personal Instagram, etc are all potential customers.
    How do you think businesses sometimes start? They start marketing to friends and family who then refer their businesses to complete strangers. Gonna save this Masterclass for another time but it is bookmarked.

    Chris! I know how to solve that problem! Entrepreneurial Summer Program for Pre-Teens (they’re still cute and the parents are scared of the adolescence age so they’ll pay $10k for -
    Summer Workshop Series. Even better, integrate communication and affect regulation skills building into the project base learning projects. Teach the children how to make the video content introducing the communication and the adult translation to affect regulation skills is…. Wait for it….. RELATIONSHIP SKILLS. Thats the workshop series you can deliver at the summer/ start of the new school year. Ultimately, this sets a strong intention to ground the new school year. (This was how I would scaffold resilience building and scaffold skill development when working with high achieving parent and their families- no video skills just the communication, affect regulation and collaborative family engagement. I’m in the accelerator- if this makes any sense I can elaborate on this in the next call.

    What’s main difference between agency and studio?

    • @khrispykreme213
      @khrispykreme213 4 місяці тому +5

      Honestly, the terms 'agency' and 'studio' are used interchangebly. An agency is going to usually be bigger while a studio is going to be a bit smaller of a crew. Either way, they both offer specialized creative solutions. Agencies can oftentimes have more capabilites (a broader range of services) where studios may be niched into a specific service like design, animation, video, etc. Again this isn't a hard rule. Chris Do's studio, Blind, covers everything from brand strategy to video production, animation, and website design.

      none, can be also called Firm, or Boutique

    • @thelifewithnate
      @thelifewithnate 4 місяці тому +1

      Excellent question, this is my two cents so take this with a grain of salt, but the terms for agency and studio can vary depending on the amount of services offered and number of employees.
      From what I have seen, a studio is smaller in terms of what it can offer whereas an agency is much larger. That being said, there are exceptions to this generalization.
      Hope that somewhat helps!

    $27k per semester. How many years/decades will it take to pay off $216k as a designer. What am I missing here cause this math doesn’t work.

    • @tilosobelman3114
      @tilosobelman3114 4 місяці тому +6

      Let's assume the designer charges an average of $50k per project and can complete one project per month.
      Total Debt: $216,000
      Average Fee per Project: $50,000
      Number of Projects Needed: $216,000 / $50,000 = 4.32 projects
      Granted this is simplified, realistically it’s showing just how much you can make and it’d be paid off the same year.

      @tilosobelman3114 upper end of average designer earns about 50k a YEAR. So yeah, you're missing a few steps if you think an unexperienced is gonna make 50k a month, first year out of college.

    What on earth are these pants Chris. Always liked your style but these look like they should be on a kid biking around the city. Not very professional. I guess that is the nice thing about owning your own business, you can dress how you want! 💯

      Nice backhanded compliment 👍 Here you are getting an incredibly valuable FREE two hour lesson from an extremely skilled professional who has worked with Microsoft, Nike, Facebook, Activision, etc. and you for some reason had the urge to call him unprofessional. You're right, he can dress however he wants, but it's not because he owns his own business. It's because he confident in himself and his choice of attire.
      "Not very professional". LOL get the hell outta here

      @@khrispykreme213 It was not meant to be backhanded - Chris is literally the first person I list when I talk about the smartest people I follow.
      The thing about comments is, you can never tell the emotion behind what someone says. It makes things hard, not knowing if someone is making a "back handed comment", or if they are just making a comment to chuckle on. Think first, before getting angry over a comment that is not even made towards you.
      Take care. 👍

      @@davidiousdesign Understood. It's funny how you assumed I was angry just like I assumed you were being rude! It is fascinating how so much nuance get's lost through text. Like you mentioned, emotion can be completely lost without tone and body language to help. My apologies!
