My daughter found you first and we both enjoy your videos and have learned so much. After watching you we both bought mills and started grinding our own wheat and making sourdough bread. My family traveled and played Southern Gospel music. We were playing our home church for the first time in several months and I saw the best looking guy in the back row with a group of my friends. My friend introduced us after church and 52 years later, we are still very happily married!

I’ve listened to southern gospel music since I was born in 1962 lol
When I’m missing my parents, I’ll play some of the music that played in my Dad’s church and at home.
But when I hit the gym, it’s Pandora Christian rock turned up the highest and I praise God right there in the gym lol but nobody at gym can tell except one day, a man approached me and said; “looks like you’re meditating”, nicely and I said I do that a lot and he watches me at gym as if he’s interested but I can tell he doesn’t carry my Christian values, I’m too old to start with another husband lol… besides, how could I be so close to God and Bible study and prayer journaling and all my hobbies and work full time and be a good wife? I don’t know how, I just leave that all in God’s hands, He holds the key to my heart. ❤
I’m not saying that married people can’t be close to God, I’m just saying; I wouldn’t want anything to come in between me and my God.
I don't have children either and wanted them very badly. God knows what He's doing. It was hard for me to accept but I have and seems like you have too. You are a true blessing! I enjoy your video's so very much!

I know this will show up as my wife’s name but I’m a 49 year disabled marine corps vet. We live on a small farm just north of Charleston WV. You have been a great inspiration. I’ve tried so many of your bread recipes. They are great!! When I’m having a rough day i watch your videos and make new breads, it is great therapy for me. So thank you for sharing your life and experiences with so many of us.

Even the disciples ( students) would ask WHY do you always talk to them in stories? Of course this is paraphrased, but He said, they don't want to know the truth, they want ME to agree with them. So, I talk to them in riddles. AH-HA! So, when folks ask me, what is your religion? I simply ask, well which one is Adonai? Yep, they never know what to say. Your beauty definitely comes from the inside! Your “beauty routine” really hit home with the research I have been doing on the gut microbiome. I have just recently started fermenting milk kefir & water kefir and my next project is sourdough starter. Your video on the sourdough starter one was so simple, easy to understand and encouraged me more to get mine started. Your quality of health really starts on the inside and you are a very inspiring model of that fact. Now if I can incorporate drinking more water as you do, that will be a big hurdle for me. I am 74 and live in SW VA and I am so happy I found your blog!

Good morning from east Tennessee. We homestead on just one acre and have chickens, muscovy ducks, rabbits, and goats. We also have a 20x50 foot garden.

We live in garden zone 6b in Virginia, too! We have an old farmhouse on a few acres in Pulaski County! I grew up in Roanoke, my husband was raised in Floyd. I just love our area! I just wondered if you and your husband are still part of a gospel singing group or if you and he sing as a duo at local churches? Also, I understand your answer of not being part of a denomination, but I’ve wondered if you have a group of other believers (either an actual church or a home group) that you meet with weekly to study the Bible. I am not one who thinks Christians have to be a part of a denomination unless God calls them to a certain church but for me I know God wants me in a community of other believers so I do attend a church. Thank you for sharing how you and Casey met and being willing to be so open about your life.
I am a retired nurse, never blessed with children, and am enjoying a slower lifestyle. Just found your channel. I prefer dresses and skirts and dont like the feel of make-up on my skin. I have chickens, rabbits, couple dairy goats that keep me busy.

I love how genuine you are. 😁 I was wondering if you use your wringer washer all the time and why. I have had a wringer washer and enjoy doing a few loads for “fun”, but I love my automatic washing machine too.
We haven't been able to use it lately, it needs a part we haven't been able to find. We have a little portable washer that we are using right now. It's still out on the porch and we actually really enjoy using it.

My husband & I also met at church in 3rd grade. My dad worked the sound booth at church. At church, we had a men's worship group called the Spiritual Echoes. My husband is musically inclined and filled from time to time. We all traveled together(short day trips) going to revivals, and dad would drive everyone in our Winnebago. Sweet memories♡
