My brother was a pastor,he passed away from Covid two years ago. When someone asked him to pray for them, he stopped right then and prayed for the. He said that way they would know he prayed and he wouldn’t forget. I’ve learned a lot fro him and that’s what I do now. Thank you for this video.

I am so sorry that your brother has passed. But he is with our Lord and I can just hear God saying to him, well done my son. I lost my three brothers and my brother in law within a 5 year span, plus other relatives. I've been brought to my knees losing so much family in such a short time.
The fact that you asked how you could pray for ME, is everything to me! I’m in my mid 50s trying a garden, learning to make my own food ( using your einkorn experience 💕 and recipes) searching desperately for a home church, and desperate for any Godly friends. I thank God for my life because I have a blood disorder the only cure is God's healing. No matter if he heals me or not I praise him ,he showed me mercy last September I had a blood clot in my lungs .I was in so much pain and I knew I was dieing and my previous Jesus Christ save me from dieing and I will never forget what he did for me.i tell the Lord how I appreciate him for loving me and his forgiveness every day. My life belongs to Jesus. Thank you Mary.

Thank you Mary for this word. I believe it is a timely word from the Lord. In the natural, I live in constant pain from my neck, back, and joints, however, I believe the Word of God that He has already healed me and His Spirit inside of me is healing my natural body. I have been discouraged lately and your words really resignated with my heart. It is easy to get discouraged when dealing with constant pain and still having to take care of a large house and husband. But I have Jesus and I need to focus on that. Thank you my friend. How beautiful Mary. I love this. I believe the same as you, that when we first come to the Lord, He wants to hear thankfulness and gratitude for all He has done and is doing. We all go through the "dry times", but during those times in my life, when I pick up the praise to Him, He is so faithful to bring me out of the desert. Oh my goodness, how great He is. One of the newer songs that I love to sing to Him is, "Counting my blessings" by Seph Schlueter and it really blesses me. When I would worry, my grandmother would always say so sweetly "There is no reason to worry, God always knows what He is doing"...That has stuck with me...I am so thankful for you Mary and for sharing these topics with us. It is greatly needed and it is so refreshing to have these videos. I am an intercessor as well and I am so thankful that we can intercede when we have a heavy heart. Good advice, prayer is such a powerful thing that God has given us, we always try to thank Him for who He is, and what He does at the beginning of our prayer, we really do need to be more earnest in our prayers for one another, and try to feel one another’s pain, and needs. Thank you
for mentioning what I told you about mamaw and her faith, I’m glad it helps you to remember it, as it helps me to remember her strong faith in God.
Our church just had a Saturday class exactly the same way and things to pray about. Was awesome and does help me think more sincerely about how I pray. Thank you, God bless and many prayers for you and your family. ❣️

My prayer request is for unsaved loved ones… and thank you all who pray for me… God seems to pull me out of myself and when I busy my mind with prayer for others … that’s when my needs are met.

Mary, this is essentially praying through the sanctuary. The wilderness sanctuary is the roadmap He gave us to find our way home. The central theme of scripture is the work that our Father and our Bridegroom are doing for our redemption and our restoration into the image of God. Andrew Murray said "prayer is the stretching forth with all my might for the heart of God. The desire of His heart is to be the Desire of our hearts. He wants to tabernacle among us. (In us).
Oh I needed this. If I worry I wake up at 3am and can’t sleep. So hard to not worry. Please pray for me to trust in the lord More ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I too struggle with a wandering mind. It drives me crazy because i'll be praying along suddenly realize its gone awondering. I ask GOD to help me refocus; He does, everytime.
I would also like to say, that you are right when you say it is scary to tell God that we want His will , not ours. LOL But speaking from my own experiences with the Lord through the years. The peace that I have as I wait for the Lord to show me His will, is that He is so faithful to keep speaking to me very clearly as I am waiting on His will. The mind is the battle field and that is where the war is mostly. But, as I keep digging deeper in seeking Him, He always makes things clear. But in my own life, it seems that the Lord always waits til the last minute of what ever scary situation I am in. But, He is always right on time...Thank you Mary. Wonderful video. Thank you. I am a born again Christian and have been praying to become more of a prayer warrior. I see such a need for people who are lost. I always say that I will stand at the gates of hell, directing traffic back to heaven. Well, over the past month, my faith has been tested. My daughter has a severe breakdown from depression and ended up in a catatonic state, which she barely whispered a few words. They had her in a mental health hospital. I went on my knees daily , crying out a d begging God to heal her. She is undergoing ECT treatments, which are bringing her out of it. PRAISE GOD! They are going to release her next week. She asks for prayer all the time. She is having spiritual attacks and needs prayer. I know that battles are won when knees go down in prayer. God bless you, and may He also continue to bless your videos and your ministry. Love in Christ.

Praise God for your sharing your 5 stages of prayer! ❤ It is good to be reminded to begin with adoration and praise and end with listening for His small voice. I end by saying outloud “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” and may I be a part of Your will today.
What a wonderful and meaningful video this is. Most of my long prayers are at night but I do pray throughout the day. There are so many people in need of prayer as well as our nation. Sometimes I have to write it all down if there is any hope for me to remember. As I write this, it occurred to me that I should keep a little notebook with me to write in at all times. My dad always wore a dark colored t-shirt with a pocket in the front. In it was always such a notebook and a pen or pencil. He called it his memory. How could I have forgotten that!? He went to heaven almost 11 years ago and I miss him so. I struggle with worry myself as I see our world spinning apart and I fear for our little granddaughters. We are blessed that they know and love Jesus but they are so little. I know what the bible says about the end times and that is what makes me afraid for them. I pray that God will give me the strength, wisdom and discernment to whatever it is I am led to and that I would be a good role model for my family. Satan and his demons are so busy that I am forced to remind myself that God is in control and the victory has already been won. I am not a patient person so slowing myself down and reminding myself that God's timing is perfect is another struggle for me. I am so thankful that He loves me even though I am such a sinner. I am thankful that I was led to your channel where I am blessed by you, your calm voice and Christian encouragement. Thank you so much and I will pray for you and your husband. May the Lord bless you both beyond your wildest imaginations and bring you peace.

Our pastor asked us to pray over 4 specific areas this week. I wrote down a scripture from my daily devotions over each area and prayed those scriptures. It really made me more aware and to consider what I was reading. Thank you Mary! I’m going to be more intentional about listening.
I love to walk outdoors and I hear gospel music while walking and this has helped me to enter into prayer

I realized I have no problem asking forgiveness or stopping throughout my day to pray for others, however, I recently realized I I don’t have the quiet, calming prayer time with God I used to. Now I spend 5 mins (with a timer on) in quietness before the Lord and it is unbelievable how long that 5 mins feels. I’m working on this because I can sit with a cup of coffee for an hour with no prob but 5 mins in quietness at His feet is hard. Thank you for this video, I have used these steps in my life before and always found them helpful.

I can't help but notice how the steps of your prayer time are very like the steps Christ followed in the Lord's prayer. If you break it into parts, they match very closely. :)

I am convinced that if God didn’t just throw things into our laps that we would waste too much time thinking about it or ignoring it because we don’t want to be uncomfortable so I don’t know about you and your husband, but with me and my husband, he just does it that way, and we accept it and we do it out of obedience. 😬

I have learned lately to wait on the Lord. It's been difficult, but I am seeing him move. Wow! Praise Jesus! My husband and i are in ministry as well . And it seems He is moving us to another state. I believe the Lord sent this message to help me today. I am in my garden planting cabbage out, enjoying the beautiful morning.
I could use prayer because my precious Mother passed on last Christmas Eve. I feel horrible guilt that I didn't do more for her. I helped her, of course, but I should have paused my life and just focused on her. Her price is far above rubies....she was that type of woman. I am struggling with missing her and it affects my mind, emotions, and my relationship with my family.

Thank you Mary for your beautiful heartfelt message this morning. I struggle with my prayer time, as I am single and still work full time @ 73. Most days I'm just tired and you know what happens when you are tired, hungry or in pain the enemy can come in and steal even more of your time. I will say that the first thing I do upon waking each morning is thanking the Lord for His blessing of another day. On my drive to work if I see someone with a flat tire or car trouble I pray for them, for I wouldn't want to be in that situation. When entering my job I thank him for His provision, when I unlock the door to my home I thank Him. To say that my mine is always on Him but I do need a more structured time pf prayer with Him. Thank you for your lovely channel and sweet spirit.

Thank you Mary for the wonderful video and for your boldness of being a Christian. I found your channel after receiving some sourdough starter from my son’s friend and wanted to make my own bread. I don’t believe I was lead here by accident, I fervently believe the Lord lead me here. You have been a blessing to me over the past couple of weeks. Such an encouragement and so good to see someone of faith standing strong for the gospel of Christ. I gleaned so much from this video and definitely plan to implement the “listening”part to my prayer life. You’re so pleasant and have such a sweet personality.
I have enjoyed your bread making videos as well. They are easy to follow and I appreciate how simple and low stress you make them as starting out bread baking can be overwhelming. I have ordered a grain mill and flaker and look forward to baking some freshly milled bread and fresh oatmeal. My husband and I are trying to take better care of our health and feel this will be such a game changer.

Mary, thank you. Back in January I made a post on Facebook letting others know that I was putting together a prayer list specifically for my friends on FB. I asked for a Bible verse that was dear to them and I promised to pray daily using their scripture that I would put to memory. I have kept my promise and each week I add one more person to my prayer list memorizing their Bible verse. I am older and this was not an easy task but I asked the Holy Spirit to guide me through this and HELP me. So many of these dear ones have added ME to their prayers and it has changed my life. I find now that I do not ask for myself but only asking for others now. I will pray for you and ask you pray for me. I have neuropathy in my legs for no known cause. I eat healthy and now, thanks to you I have added whole grains to my diet. I am not a diabetic. There just doesn't seem to be a reason for this pain. Please pray God's will in my life. Romans 8:28.
