It's probably vegetarian because if some sauces say sugar, the sugar may not be vegan. Most white sugar is processed (whitened) with the charred pelvic bones of cows. Most people don't know that. Organic sugar is slightly beige. It will say bone char free on the bag.
I did! Brought it to a bbq & it was all gone w/in an hour by my meat- loving relatives. Every family party there's zero to very little fruits & veggie dishes, they rely on me; the only vegan in the family lol. It was so yummy & refreshing! I always enjoy your videos bro, keep up the good work!

Or easy way , just put, lime , salt , palm sugar , chilly , garlic , tamarind water , long bean , tomato, green papaya, peanut . 👌
You can also melt that rock sugar with a tiny bit of water over low heat instead of attempting to chop off a finger chopping it
