- Armstrong Foils team rider Daniel Ka'ahanui and Robert Stehlik go over the Armstrong foil wing lineup at the Blue Planet Surf Shop in Honolulu and make recommendations on the best foil setup to use for wing foiling depending on rider weight, conditions, and skill level.
In this video we go over these foil wings:
1850, 2400, 1550 V1 and 1550HS, 1250HS, 1050, and 1125HA
We also go over fuselage and mast length and talk about the tail wing options, chopping the tips off wings, shimming, and the Armstrong A+ system.

Daniel is 160 lbs and uses a 56L board in the video with Armstrong 1050 wing, 50 cm fuse, 72 cm mast, and a small, flat custom tail wing.

So Daniel, when the surfs overhead, glassy and mackin’.. your not foiling, right? Your surfing. Because, Foiling looks like what your doing when the surfs flat and you tell your wife your at work. Chasing the stoke 🤙🏽 I sorta like this, Im interested in trying that setup for shredding, to replace surfing these east coast tropical swells
