I really like the okuma Coldwater rods or their white diamond rods the 8ft med (for deeper ff and snap weight) and the 8ft 6 med light for flat lining

I've been looking for a rod to pair with a size 20 line counter that can do double duty for walleye and coho trolling. That mag taper SST might be the ticket.

In the YAk I ran Tekota 300LC 20# braid (walleye setup) never spooled or broke off. The lite setup for harbor browns and spring Coho 10#. Braid Diawa Lexa 150 is fun but I got spooled by a King? And had to chase down a big rainbow. Lighter is way more fun!

Ahhh…Okuma SST Twitchin spinning rod technically can use from shore and then on your kayak for jigging/casting/skein bobber fishing. As far as bait casting, not so much
