It takes a lot of time to learn how to do it.
Running 4 on the PA 17T takes some finesse. 2 dipsys, 1 leadcore and 1 rigger. She gets interesting quick lol

How do you keep tabs on driving the boat and the line directly behind you. Do you just keep looking bavk and forth or do you usually hear the drag
I can hear and feel the rod get hit next to me. If it’s really windy or just loud cause I’m around other boats or nearshore, I’ll keep my hand on the butt of the rod to feel it get hit

What depths are you fishing in?
Deep!
Why not run boards much further out to avoid rear rod from tangling up with boards?
Boards further out won't pull as well in the kayak as having them where I set them at plus I don't get tangled doing it this way. So it works for me.
