I appreciate that very much, I bought a very nice compact rubber net so I carry that with me at all times now to keep the fish in the water while removing the hook. Thanks for the support!
Good Video 😊. New Subscriber. I'm jealous. I fish the Pacific Northwest. Ice Harbor Dam on the Snake and the Klickitat Rivers. Going to miss the Rivers here. Moving to the Philippines 🇵🇭 this June/July. Tight Lines 🎣. Stay Safe 💕 💞 🙏 🙏
Well first thank you for subscribing! I definitely am blessed and very fortunate to live where I do! There are so many fisherman I talk to every season that drive hours and hours just to come up and fish our streams, when I say “I live here” they always say “must be nice” haha. Good luck on the move and safe travels! Thanks for the support!🤘🏻
New subscriber here, great video. What line are you using? And what weight line? I have an eight weight 9’ vice and I can’t quite get used to casting it. Thanks!
First off thanks for the support! The line I’m running on this set up is scientific angler 6wt floating line. No sink tip or anything like that. One key that I’ve found that make it easier for me to control my cast is I down size my line wight to 1 less than my rod weight. Same goes for my 4wt stocked/native trout rod. Easier casting but still controllable while mending and such. This set up is a 10’ 7wt vice with a redington rise 7/8wt. Hope this helps if it works for you let me know! Any other questions feel free to ask.
@@tightlinefinatic3980Big help, thank you! Which SA line is it specifically? And I haven’t tried underlining a rod (overlining). Definitely going to try underlining, thanks for the tip!
I agree, I grew up fishing this creek all the way up past route 20. Every fall we get those big rain storms that change the mouth, sometimes it’s for the worse. We’ll see what this fall brings!
@@chrisswartzfager5814 Nope, I hardly ever fish walnut. In my opinion it’s way to crowded and over pressured fish. Another thing is I like to see scenery when I fish and there isn’t much to look at there lol
compliments on your fishhandling. You land quickly, handle minimally, and release . Wish more people would do the same!

Yeah... That hole near the mouth changed a lot after a storm a few years ago and I don't think it's been as good.
