    -Zócalo: the main square of Oaxaca, lively as ever, adorned with the impressive Cathedral of Oaxaca
    -Andador Turístico: the main pedestrian street of Oaxaca, lined with street vendors
    -Templo de Santo Domingo: a breathtaking church with fully gilded interior
    -Basilica Nuestra Señora de la Soledad: the church housing the patron saint of Oaxaca, the Virgin of Solitude
    -Jalatlaco: the bohemian district of Oaxaca with various local artisanal shops and restaurants
    -Mercado 20 de Noviembre: a huge indoor market bustling with people and vendors, perfect to grab something to eat from the numerous food stalls
    -Teotitlán: visit one of the Mezcal distilleries around Oaxaca - El Rey de Matatlán is a good option where you can take a tour around the distillery and do a Mezcal tasting
    -Zaachila: a small village that comes to life once a week during the weekly open air market
    -Monte Albán: a hilltop archeological site dating back more than 2000 years
