      @@gloriaortiz1227 en el mundial de rusia en el 2018 me encontré a muchos aficionados mexicanos y me invitaron a visitar México🇲🇽 yo crei que solo estaria unas semanas en México pero al llegar a México me impresionó la ciudad de México que es muy grande e interesante con gastronomía exquisita y llena de museos muy interesantes pero yo buscaba algo más tranquilo y me hablaron de puebla llegué y me enamore de puebla❤ de sus tradiciones sus artesanías y su gastronomía, ya hasta me dicen la rusa más poblana👱‍♀️❤ lo cual me gusta y lo agradezco de corazón 🙏❤

      @@TheCountryCollectors hay todavia muchos platillos que no e probado ya que la gastronomía poblana es muy extensa pero una de mis comidas favoritas son el mole poblano, los chiles en nogada, las enchiladas, y dicen que los tacos al pastor fueron inventados en puebla no estoy muy segura pero si es así serían los tacos al pastor mi comida favorita 😍🌮❤

    Actually Puebla is the only place in Mexico where they celebrate 5 de mayo! Our main mexican holiday is september 15th! Our independence day! -- 💜GREAT VIDEO!!! 💜Always love all the research you make!

    What an intriguing dose of history! Those tunnels were amazing. Heidi, best line of all your videos - "Took a while". Got a good belly laugh out of that one. Adam went overboard on his corny lines in this one. Loved the "bug hug" as always. Adam is such a lucky guy. You guys never fail to make my Sundays. Gracias!

    When we visited Bahia de San Agustin in Huatulco we sat next to a very fluent couple from Puebla who were home visiting family for Dia de los Muertos. When I watched your video I thought about them and our wonderful conversation that day. Thank- you for sharing another piece of beautiful Mexico!

      Oh we spent over 3 weeks total in the state - probably 10 days in the city I just meant the video was shot over 2 days!

    Puebla is the city with most historic Monuments in American continent: 2619. Originaly founded for spaniards only in 1531. It has the Best cuisine and has been fundamental for mexican history. One of the best cities.

      There's a guy called Mark Wiens idk if you guys know him, he travels the world for food... Adam should join him lol he even has t shirts that say "I TRAVEL FOR FOOD" LOL. and you guys should see his reactions when he tries the Mexican food lol, Priceless!. You guys brought me memories of the TAPO bus station because that's where we as children user to arrive when traveling from Villahermosa to CDMX to visit my grandma and family.

    If you like sweets you need to go to Morelia. You kind of went around it 🤣.
    The food there is also pretty good. Not as much recognition as in Oaxaca and Puebla, but it was the traditional cooks from Michoacán who got the UNESCO recognition for Mexican food as an intangible world heritage.

    I am watching you guys and you made me miss my childhood , I use to go to Puebla to visit my aunt Ema , everytime you go to a City where I visit my family I feel nostalgia . I was in Mexico 2 weeks ago but just visit Chiapas my mom and brothers .

    Beautiful city! Those tunnels are incredible! Really cool that you tried so many local traditional foods/drink. I'm so down with zocalos... Awesome just by themselves but that you may run into some dance troupe or some crazy artist or musicians there practicing or performing is so cool. Zocalo is an awesome word, too! Just sounds cool.     Good morning. I hope you guys are doing well. I haven't been able to keep up on all of your videos but my eyes have really opened up to the beauty in Mexico. We are going to Huatulco for six week this winter and are really looking forward to it. I am wondering what your favorite beverages have been that the locals drink? I like beer occasionally but I like to try stuff that regular folks enjoy. Any suggestions?

      Hi! Oh wow that is great! Here beer is king. It is what most locals drink. Mezcal in Oaxaca and tequila too. They drink a lot of Ricos raspados which are shaved ice beverages and in Oaxaca we would drink tejate, a prehispanic drink made from corn.

    This was a great video with lots of information, recommendations & prices.
    We'll be coming up for a week in October for my University reunion in Cholula, but after this video I think we'll stay in Puebla this year.
    Many of the alumni from the University live in Puebla, Cholula, & Atlixco.
    We will duplicate your tour so it should be easy. We will do what you did. You'll make it more compact, so we can see more.
    Afew of the things you recommended we've already done, but it was quite a few years ago.

      Answering your question, I never made it to those magic towns.
      I was in Puebla/Cholula 50+ years ago and I washed a student. I had just gotten back from Vietnam in 1969 and my life was very different then. Of course, Mexico was very different then too.
      Someday we may make it, but for now we're huddled at home in Oaxaca.

      Hi Nancy! I don’t think we’ve had a bad meal on film days because I tend to do my research but we absolutely have on the other days of the week!

    Another great video. Really nice Airbnb. Beautiful cathedral. Adam's sandwich looked so good. I love the fact they have a street dedicated to candy. That building with the bullet holes and the tunnels were pretty cool.

    Since you are in State#16 it is probably too late for this suggestion, but would be nice to have a short section at the end of the videos dedicated to show modern areas of cities, like Angelopolis in Puebla, San Angel in Mexico City or Zapopan in Guadalajara, for those who enjoy also a visit to modern malls and architecture and not only historic stuff

      Hey! That’s a good idea. Others have asked that too but it seems we’re just more attracted to the historic parts of the cities. I’m sure you could find videos from these parts on other channels right? Will keep this in mind, thanks.
