gosh, I love my country. I wish we could control the violence in certain parts of the country and we could just enjoy all of the many great things that we have to offer. I hope and pray for a Mexico with no violence.

Actually Puebla is the only place in Mexico where they celebrate 5 de mayo! Our main mexican holiday is september 15th! Our independence day! -- 💜GREAT VIDEO!!! 💜Always love all the research you make!

The art on the buildings are beautiful… there are so many amazing artists in Mexico …

What an intriguing dose of history! Those tunnels were amazing. Heidi, best line of all your videos - "Took a while". Got a good belly laugh out of that one. Adam went overboard on his corny lines in this one. Loved the "bug hug" as always. Adam is such a lucky guy. You guys never fail to make my Sundays. Gracias!
Hey Gary! Haha 😂 he grew on me … I’m sure many people on here can say the same thing. He was on fire 🔥 with the puns. lol if he’s happy that’s all that matters! Thanks for being here and experiencing puebla with us Gary. Take care!!
My wife and I loved this episode. We never thought Puebla would be so cool to visit. We have added it to our list of Mexican cities to visit. Keep shining but most importantly don’t stop the puns.
Haha Thank you so much! We won’t!!
When we visited Bahia de San Agustin in Huatulco we sat next to a very fluent couple from Puebla who were home visiting family for Dia de los Muertos. When I watched your video I thought about them and our wonderful conversation that day. Thank- you for sharing another piece of beautiful Mexico!
Hi Melissa! Oh that’s amazing glad we could bring back your fond memories!
With only 2 days in Puebla you didn't get to experience the fantastic weather. Best climate in the world.
Oh we spent over 3 weeks total in the state - probably 10 days in the city I just meant the video was shot over 2 days!
I am not a huge candy eater but the lime and coconut candy looked interesting. I would as Adam says, Jump into that!
lol yes they are definitely worth a try, that one was the best we had!
What a national treasure and amazing history of the battle … so amazing
We really were blown away. It’s always a grateful feeling walking through history like that.
That library was fantastic, loved the tunnels. So much history in that city!
Hey Cindy! Oh there’s so much to learn!
Los Angeles, California (original name: El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles), was named after Puebla de Los Angeles.
Oh wow very interesting thank you so much for sharing this with us.
I was born in Puebla, Puebla. You brought back so many beautiful memories. Thank you guys❤

Crazy huge!!
Puebla is the city with most historic Monuments in American continent: 2619. Originaly founded for spaniards only in 1531. It has the Best cuisine and has been fundamental for mexican history. One of the best cities.
Thanks for sharing!
The Tunnels just amazing. Huge part of Mexican Revolution History! The places you guys recommended to go eat 🤤. Another great video full of info and tips. Thank you CC!!
Good morning Araf!! Thanks so much for joining us. Oh man imaging editing it lol I’m always hungry!
There's a guy called Mark Wiens idk if you guys know him, he travels the world for food... Adam should join him lol he even has t shirts that say "I TRAVEL FOR FOOD" LOL. and you guys should see his reactions when he tries the Mexican food lol, Priceless!. You guys brought me memories of the TAPO bus station because that's where we as children user to arrive when traveling from Villahermosa to CDMX to visit my grandma and family.

If you like sweets you need to go to Morelia. You kind of went around it 🤣.
The food there is also pretty good. Not as much recognition as in Oaxaca and Puebla, but it was the traditional cooks from Michoacán who got the UNESCO recognition for Mexican food as an intangible world heritage.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing! Yes we plan to visit Michoacán later in the year.
@@TheCountryCollectors day of the death is a good time to be there… but it gets very crowded and finding accommodations may be challenging.

Masterpiece, no other words I can think of. That mountain behind the city, but also the whole atmosphere, which is fantastically conveyed through b-roll footage, make this video special. How powerfully edited this is.
Wow 🤩 we really appreciate your kind words. This project took all week to create so that means a lot to us!! 💕

What a fun little road!
Transcripts! Brilliant idea…so far, you’re the only vloggers I’ve come across that offer them. So useful.

@@TheCountryCollectors wow..you guys are pros, and it shows in your videos! What a great service you’re doing for those who can only armchair travel. Thankfully, that’s not me yet. I’m collecting all your videos and making a list. Puebla and Cholula just flew up the rankings:)

I am watching you guys and you made me miss my childhood , I use to go to Puebla to visit my aunt Ema , everytime you go to a City where I visit my family I feel nostalgia . I was in Mexico 2 weeks ago but just visit Chiapas my mom and brothers .
We love that! Thanks for always sharing this with us.
Oh how I miss the food, especially the cemitas. Adam that one was massive holy cow. Chalupas are a favorite as well.
I know! It was massive. So so tasty!
Beautiful city! Those tunnels are incredible! Really cool that you tried so many local traditional foods/drink. I'm so down with zocalos... Awesome just by themselves but that you may run into some dance troupe or some crazy artist or musicians there practicing or performing is so cool. Zocalo is an awesome word, too! Just sounds cool. Zocalo. Ey yo! Zocalo!
Haha now that little tune is going to be stuck in my head now! Every time we go to a new one that’s what I’m going to sing! I love it!
Zocalo means socket; a construction socket or a base to build on to on.
Fascinating look at Puebla and learning yet more about Mexico's rich history and culture! Your upfront research is so worth it.It gives your videos a great flow but also presents the best places ,things to do for the final cut
Thank you so much for your feedback! We appreciate it’
I have not been to Puebla for about 20 years...wish the tunnels had been available. The raisen /cheese liquor hasn't changed! another great video! Thanks kids!!

Hi Julia! Oh that’s awesome! It’s our pleasure!
Good morning. I hope you guys are doing well. I haven't been able to keep up on all of your videos but my eyes have really opened up to the beauty in Mexico. We are going to Huatulco for six week this winter and are really looking forward to it. I am wondering what your favorite beverages have been that the locals drink? I like beer occasionally but I like to try stuff that regular folks enjoy. Any suggestions?
Hi! Oh wow that is great! Here beer is king. It is what most locals drink. Mezcal in Oaxaca and tequila too. They drink a lot of Ricos raspados which are shaved ice beverages and in Oaxaca we would drink tejate, a prehispanic drink made from corn.
@@TheCountryCollectors Cool. Thanks so much for the reply. I will be watching more of your installments the closer we get to our vacation. I will check out as many of the local beverages as my liver will allow.....
Keep up the awesome videos and thanks again. Be safe and have a great time down there!

Hope you have a wonderful time!
This is Paul.... and Gloria in Oaxaca.
This was a great video with lots of information, recommendations & prices.
We'll be coming up for a week in October for my University reunion in Cholula, but after this video I think we'll stay in Puebla this year.
Many of the alumni from the University live in Puebla, Cholula, & Atlixco.
We will duplicate your tour so it should be easy. We will do what you did. You'll make it more compact, so we can see more.
Afew of the things you recommended we've already done, but it was quite a few years ago.
Hi Paul and Gloria! Thank you so much! Oh that’s great. We’ve enjoyed both places a lot. What a beautiful area here in Puebla. Did you ever make it north to Zacatlan de Manzanas or Cuetzalan?
Answering your question, I never made it to those magic towns.
I was in Puebla/Cholula 50+ years ago and I washed a student. I had just gotten back from Vietnam in 1969 and my life was very different then. Of course, Mexico was very different then too.
Someday we may make it, but for now we're huddled at home in Oaxaca.
Lord of the puns!!!
I loved your video, you did like all the greatest hits of the things I miss from living in Puebla.

Hi Mauro! Thank you so much!!
Since you are in State#16 it is probably too late for this suggestion, but would be nice to have a short section at the end of the videos dedicated to show modern areas of cities, like Angelopolis in Puebla, San Angel in Mexico City or Zapopan in Guadalajara, for those who enjoy also a visit to modern malls and architecture and not only historic stuff
Hey! That’s a good idea. Others have asked that too but it seems we’re just more attracted to the historic parts of the cities. I’m sure you could find videos from these parts on other channels right? Will keep this in mind, thanks.
