Nobody asked for a new game we just wanted CSGO to be better. Every operation was better than the one before that. But the last three ones were all (except from the cosmetics) a step backwards. So I'm not even sure if I should get excited for a new operation.

The "terror hunt" game mode likely might come out in a wider push for CS2's new game mode coding stuff instead of an operation: we have seen the new coding system's proof of concept in the Arms Race game mode but we are yet to see it's wider integration into the community workshop. How about mini operations with game modes voted in by the community?
I'm pretty sure there wont be an operation before shanghai major as they want to re-introduce overpass with gameplay changes into the active duty pool. They would probably use this time to create a 2024 Overpass collection. I think danger zone and a new case will release together before shanghai major though
Honestly, I don't think this update is bad, we just expected it to be something else. At least this way it seems like they are still tackling issues the game has rather than spoon-feed us another way for them to make money. The operation would have distracted the community for a while, maybe, but that doesn't mean the problems would have just disappeared.

Idk, playing mm is boring, arms race/deathmatch also boring after 2-3 games. No operation, no new case, no battlepass system ...etc. Lack of content from a multi millionare company. would rather stick with other FPS games.

They release the maps that we could already play in the workshop, but now we can play competitive on it and get ranks, most of the players will not even touch most of the maps because lets be honest we don't have a reason to and we either play faceit or Premier (if only valve could give us missions and rewards to play those maps). 2. 25th Anniversary for your damn game and all we get is a post on X, its not like it was the perfect timming for something like an operation(LOL). 3. Riptide ended 21st of February 2022, its been 2 years already valve could at least give us a little something of content to do in game, last case we got was killowatt and was just that a case nothing more and it has been 5 months 4. This update felt like valve saying to us "here take this maps and rejoice", in reality we had more game modes in csgo (like retakes, dangerzone and Flying Scoutsman) they didn't even added a gamemode, the only thing they did this update was update de mvp banners( i mean its cool but no one asked for it LOL).

We deserve more, we are supporting and enduring everything in a beta game to which they add animations and nonsense that no one cares about, even... it feels like they think we are idiots, or maybe people didn't know they could download the maps the workshop? Only played the mills map once, but I really liked it. Didn’t like the other one.
mills is playable but boring as fuck, it’s basically another map with 3 lines, it’s the same like dust, mirage but now you have donut on mid
