Awesome mods! The roof basket is cool! My brother has a roof basket and it is one if the mods he gets asked about the most.
Thank you! That’s awesome.
I do like the look of the roof basket, it was a fun installation.
I just got the exact same husky floor liners. Same center console organizer. First 2 things I purchased when I got the truck.
Awesome additions 👏🏻👏🏻
Just put an order in for a 2022 or maybe 2023 4Runner and that cargo linear is amazing ! Especially to bring the dogs out camping with us, short dogs hair sticks everywhere
Absolutely… congratulations on your soon to be 4runner!
Best of luck!
@@VikingsGarage thanks 🤜🏼🤛🏽
Just found your channel and have already found it so useful!! I’m cheap and never want to pay a lot of money for modifications so this video is so useful to empower us to be able to do it ourselves!! Thanks!! The first thing I’m doing when I get my 4Runner is doing the blacked out emblems!! $40 on Amazon!!
I appreciate your support!
I’m there with you, I think I did those emblem black out overlay’s 3 weeks after buying it. 😆
You can do every single one of these Mod’s yourself, not that hard.
The 4Runner tonneau cover retails for $150, but a lot of dealers are selling it online only for a little under $100. But then you plug in your address and shipping is usually $30-$40. I found one with a free shipping code offer, so I got it for under $100 last week. As far as protecting the cargo area from dog hair (and worse, like the occasional vomit), instead of just covering the back of the passenger seats I'd recommend a cargo area cover that has straps that attach around the posts of the back seat passenger headrests and covers not only the back of the 2nd row passenger seats, but the entire floor of the cargo area; you tuck the excess fabric in around the edges of the floor under the floor mat to keep it in place. It's easy to take the cover out out, hose it off and let it dry before putting it back in. I have one that I was using in a Lexus RX 350 and moved it to the 2018 4Runner Limited that I recently purchased. It was little big for the Lexus and fits better in the 4Runner. They are not made specific for a particular SUV but my recollection is they are in different sizes and the manufacturer advises which size to get for various SUVs. I have a golden retriever who sheds, can get wet and muddy on hikes and is a sloppy drinker from her water bowl, so having all but the plastic sides of the cargo area covered is essential to keeping the cargo area from becoming a mess over time.
By all means a much better way to protect your interior. Thank you for sharing!
Cool stuff
🤘🏻
Blackout emblem cover is going on mine!
👏🏻 One of my favorite Mods!😉
Enjoy!
I also got my rims and roof rails powder coated black on my SR5. I have a center console organizer as well. I’m guessing you also have one in your glove box but forgot to mention it. My house is in mats from Toyota are eh, i’m going to get the Husky ones that you mentioned that are higher on the sides. 👍 I was also thinking about getting the grids that go in the back windows to store items up off the floor.
Sweet mods!!
Yeah the rear trunk grids might be In Store for me as well.
Thank you for sharing!!
I have the husky liner for the cargo and i love it. Also, I think the amber cuts through fog more than the white lights that’s why most ppl prefer them but I maybe wrong
No I think your most certainly right. Husky stuff is durable and well made. 👍🏻
Also the yellow is better for snow, the yellow doesn’t reflect off the snow 👍
That’s very true
Great video! I appreciate all the content on the 4RUNNER. I currently have one on allocation and hoping to get it soon! Where in NJ do you live? Thanks
Pretty cool! I’m in Northern NJ
Great videos and very useful. I'm looking to do lift on my 4runner so where in NJ would you recommend because I can't find a good place in Staten Island.
Thank you very much Sir.
Go to OK4WD in Sewarstsville , NJ you can thank me later . 😉
Thanks. Wonder how to turn on air conditioning and how to use head lights that’s not high beam for night driving.
All this info is in the owner’s manual
Hi there. How can I upgrade the rear spoiler in my 2015 4runner?Is this possible? If is not,do you any no so expensive place where I could find it.Thanks, great fan
I’ve personally never heard of upgrading the rear spoiler on a 5th gen 4Runner.🤷🏼♂️
I appreciate your support!!
👍
4Runner 4life
Amen!!! Same.
Any problem with tire balance? Having alot of problem with tire balance with multiple tires and wheels combo (brandnew 4runner)
Make sure that they are “Road-force” them , it usually works like a charm. Sorry you dealing with such nonsense. They are great Vehicles.
What's your take on the block heater?. I live in ND where it gets to -35/40 degrees in winter months. Is it a fact that the 5gen runner has a place in the block for the installation of a block heater. Love to hear the scoop on this. Thanks 😎👍
I’ve never installed one myself but yes with a quick google search you can actually see the pre-existing spot where it goes…
Totally doable and recommend for those temps. 🤘🏻
Yup, found some posts online regarding the pre existing "hole" , and the location. I've actually got an appointment for installation in couple weeks along with the low pressure fuel pump recall fix. So..... 😎👍
Right on. Just bought my first runner '14 trail - used at 39/40k miles. Happy trails!! 😀👍
That’s awesome, wishing you the best luck with it!! 🤘🏻
what about a mod to keep the dust from accumulating on the inside of the hatch door? I live on a dirt road and sometimes I have a thick layer when I open the hatch door. Its a pain when I'm trying to load groceries w/o getting dust on my clothes.
I do not have a mod for that.
Most of these modifications are already on my Venture Edition.
👍🏻
Hello, some people on the web wrote that the cargo basket hurt the fuel economy greatly (10-25%). Do you experience the same issue with fuel economy? Thanks for your video!
This is 💯 true. Once that cargo basket went on so did the MPG, about 1.5mpg
Do you have a link for the center counsel organizer?? I will have to save up for the TRD grill I love that grill but am about to put a bunch of money down on my 4Runner so will have to save up for that TRD grill I didn’t even now that was an option to do!! Thanks for that!
Try this link for the Center console organizer :

Yeah the trd pro grill is a bit pricey. Believe me I can be cheap, took me a while to order that one. 🤣
@@VikingsGarage ahhahah thanks!! I appreciate all the info!! The grill doesn’t seem to pricey (is it pricey idk how much that stuff goes for ahhaha) just with buying a new car and all of those expenses it’s hard to shell out another $350 on top! I will deff have to put it on the list for something to buy in the future though!!
I Completely understand .
My 4Runner came last night!!!! So exciting… so here I am watching this video again to start ordering some of your recommendations ahahah
Lol, wishing best of luck with it and enjoy!
Install a brake controller for the trailer
👍🏻
Pls Which LED light bulbs did you use?
It’s specified in the description, Boslla is the brand.

Do you have a part # for the cargo net?
Totally forgot that one,in the description.
PT347-89100 about $35
@@VikingsGarage Thanks
You got it.
1 thing you'll regret is putting those stickers on your paint job
I already have 🤣🤣🤣
It was a pain to remove.
@@VikingsGarage yeah brother I learned the hard way too.
I’ve had two of those rubber hitch covers stolen off my 4 runner. Wtf…..
Bummer. People suck!
Sorry to hear bud.
Why do you have street tires?
Because I drive it on the street!
Then why have a 4Runner?
What are you actually trying to accomplish with your comments??
Maybe the video below will put your mind at ease
ua-cam.com/video/DUt2MQFnxI4/v-deo.html
@@VikingsGarage I have K02s on my 4Runner and they are fine on the asphalt, as well as on snow (more than on mud), and whatever else a trail will throw at me. I just dislike to see such a capable off-roader with street tires. If that's the only use you have for it, won't a Dodge Caravan will do the job?
@@guidominadisospiro3553 How long have you been a self appointed vehicle cop?
If "blacked-out" was anything but a fad, we would have been begging for it decades ago. Chrome has been around forever, will be around forever, and you'll regret having covered it with a boring, black cover up.
Don’t regret it not even a little.
To each their own Sir!!
