Lowkey it’s a good way to keep in time with the music
Yeah it makes it easier and gets you into the groove better. The one band who's stage presence that always impressed me has been Dillinger Escape Plan. During one show I went to one of the guitarists completely stomped his speaker cabinet into bits while he was playing and not missing a beat, backflips, fire breathing. But that's all stuff I doubt would be considered during rehearsals.
The music these guys write is just so out there and different. I love it. I'm not surprised how long it takes them to write new music. I can't even conceive how to write music like this. I await new music.
