Been looking at all these debadging videos for cars. Forgot I had a Durango. Gonna do the same to mines. Didnt think about the Dodge on the tailgate. Thanks for upping my game. Looks nice and clean with a hint of R/T. Good stuff bro
I looks a lot better with out the badges. I did it to mine a week ago. The chrome DODGE emblem are bothering me quite a bit since it’s all black and it’s the only chrome left. Didn’t realize it was that easy to pop them out. Thanks for the example on how to do it. Going now to take them off now.
Awesome!!! Thanks for checking out my video .. appreciate it. The taillights look so much better tinted I think. Here is the video of me tinting the tails ua-cam.com/video/BgzrnR8j50E/v-deo.html
At the 2:25 mark in the video .. I mention how it left a little bit of a shadow of the RT on the paint from the residue .. so I just used that. 2014 badge so it was on for some time. But you can use a piece of masking tape around the RT logo before you pull it off so line up the new badge
@@LouieAWDTSi thanks for your reply. The reason I ask is because mine has no badge on the right hand side and I have to figure out where to put the RT so it is in the exact factory position but there is no where online that tells me this.
@@15DurangoRT I can measure mine for you give an idea. But I do think if you have eye ball it .. you’ll be fine… especially if you have another Durango RT or GT around in a parking lot to see (snap a pic next time) lol you can kinda of see it’s placement
No I did not. They were easy enough just to pull off without it. There’s lots of lighting behind that area so I tried it without heat just to be safe and it worked well.
Looks good. Makes it yours. I went a different route, but that's why they make different emblems.I am surprised the upper letters left the residue. Mine popped right off my 2015 with nothing left on the vehicle. What exhaust are you running? Sounds good!
wmspins thanks.. yeah I think it cleaned up the back end instead of being so busy with chrome lettering. My exhaust actually stock. I may put larger tips on eventually. I don’t want it to be too loud though. I have an Eagle Talon that is loud on the ears. 1 loud car is plenty lol
When I buy a vehicle I always have the salesman remove the dealership decals…they not paying or gave a discount for advertisement…and it looks ugly most of the time…

Thank you .. appreciate the feedback. I am happy with it. I did a few other things to the Durango .. feel free to check them out. Enjoy your day
the fuckers left the dodge indentation in the tail light... With my charger it was just a flat surface after.

Eli Jr thanks for the feedback and checking out the video ...
did the dodge letters come off easy for you?
I hoping I can get the OEM lettering for track tail light in blacked out
That looks cleans ASF! I absolutely love it.
Thank you!! If you watch my latest Durango video.. I changed it up again.. just a little.
Can you get black Dodge lettering for track light from dealer.
I don’t think so because even the blacked out version of the Durango’s came with the same color track light letters
What I am saying can you by the lettering separate for track tail light.
Such as chrome or factory blacked out
@@therealist218 not that I know of
I got the same colored rango and year too... I plasti dip front grill black, I'm thinking about tinting the taillights too! Awesome video

Hey did you remove your grill? Please tell me what you did to protect your radiator
Where did you get the Front Grille RT BADGE
eBay … they have been harder to find though since before covid days
You still have the imprint of the DODGE. So I got black ones
Yup .. it’s basically a free black out (chrome delete) mod lol
Since you didn't mark the old badges location, how did you know where to put the new one? Or did you just eyeball it?

I didnt know the dodge letters on the light came off 🤣🤣 thanks for the video
You’re welcome!!
Did you heat the DODGE emblem to get them to pop off that easy?

LouieAWDTSi _ thanks I can’t seem to get mine out.
Try pliers carefully.. if not a little heat on each letter will do it.
I see ur in NJ... I'm in Philly is there a way that I can pay u to take mines off?
Hi, shoot me a message on Instagram. I might be able to.
@LouieAWDTSi
What mod did are you using for the exhaust? Or what did you do? Thanks brodie I just got 2018 Rt hemi
@@datvo11 thanks for watching .. rear resonators deleted .. here are the details

Ah perfect! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the DODGE letters across the rear brake light. Now I know it looks Good just simply removing them!!
Glad I could help with that lol thanks for watching
I’m guessing you got the Durango from Norristown,Pa..
Dlt215 yup.. is that good or bad lol
??? Curious

@@LouieAWDTSi I have a red 345 next to a grey HEMI badge on the back. On the right I have a red R/T badge.
@@LouieAWDTSi so why is it louder if u didn't do any exaust modification it sounds good
@@bradleypumba RT Durango’s sound good stock!! I have modified the exhaust since that video though.. ua-cam.com/video/aOCSr2078lg/v-deo.html
Nice video! I’m late to the party but the dodge emblem is gotta go! Thanks for the vid 💪🏾
Metal screw driver on that trim kills me. Plastic trim tools or floss/fishing line and a little heat goes a long way
You ain’t wrong lol
