Thanks so much for the video. I got to the step just after removing the plastic screws pieces but I didn’t know you had to pop it up like that. I didn’t want to force anything and break something so your video came in clutch. Now I’ve removed the dodge emblem on my rt and it looks awesome. Clean and symmetrical. I’m consider removing the back emblems, but they’re black and my cars black so you can’t even really see them.
Awesome. I started to install and then got stuck. Your video got me through it. I did scratch the shot out of my arm. And I dropped the backing and it fell to the bottom of the fearing. Had to use a brrom stick and duck tape to get out. Nevertheless got it installed.
Just got mine Sunday can't wait til this weekend to take the ugly Dodge logo off. Leaving mine blank though. Thanks for the tutorial. I'll wear a long sleeve shirt to not get scratched lol
I was thinking about removing the emblem altogether so I have just a vanilla grill. So the question is: Is the grill pattern continuous beneath the emblem area? Or (if I remove the emblem altogether) will there be evidence that something was supposed to be in that location? Thanks for this video and the one on the SRT paddle shifter. Very useful.
TheCondoInRedondo it will be super clean. Just an FYI the 2019 GT Durango’s will have the same front fascia so the only thing that will set it apart from the front is the addition of the R/T.
Thank you for being so responsive. BTW - I saw another video where someone applied the SRT paddles to the steering wheel without removing the air bag or even the switch modules themselves. All he does is unscrew the metal paddles from the switch ass'y with the steering wheel in place. He does the left one, then rotates the steering wheel 180 before repeating on the right side paddle (albeit upside down). Each metal paddle is secured to the module using two small screws and a tiny black plastic "bar" which clamps down on the root of the metal paddle.
Is this the same for. 2019 Dodge Durango ? I was thinking about going back to the dealership to getting help getting it installed because I don’t have any of the tools
Like your videos. But when are you going to start modding that bad boy. Like a new exhaust, and a CAI to start. Get rid of that stock sound and spend a couple bucks for a nice sounding exhaust. I'm adding a Gibson axelback exhaust, stainless steel. $450, and 150 install. My guy said a newer Durango doesnt need a full catback system, just an axelback. Saving you a good thousand bucks.
Just used your video to install R/T front Grille emblem, on my 2022 Dodge Durango R/T 5.7L (HEMI orange package).
Thanks a lot!

Used your video as a guide to install R/T badge on front grill of my 2019 Durango R/T.... thanks!
Just did mine! This video gave me the confidence to remove the panels for access. Thanks !!
Frankdubbs thanks for watching. Glad it helped. I wish Dodge badged them that way from the factory.

Thank you for your knowledge

Thank you for posting this video!

Where did you get the plastic tools to remove the tabs?

Could be. Tools are only a few $$$ and dealer will charge you an arm and a leg.
