May I say, another wonderful rail adventure and thank you. On October 4th 2024 the Canadian National celebrates its anniversary. fall is the most colorful time of the year.
Thank you, Nancy, for taking from Herman, Michigan to L'Anse, Michigan then to Bovine, Michigan and finally along the Spurr River as we followed the Canadian National's L'Anse Local. We saw some train action as we followed the L'Anse Local on 1 October 2024. We also some of the early red colors in the trees along the railroad. (Posted on 3 October 2024 at 1158 CDT.)
I watched a video yesterday on Killer Bee UA-cam about an excursion in the early 90's that crossed the U.P. They even took the passenger cars up on the Ore Dock in Marquette. There were shots of L'Anse and Baraga.
For some reason I missed Baraga and L'Anse I will watch again! A couple years ago Clint tried to find an old caboose for me! Unfortunately they are in such bad shape they wouldn't make the trip here! Plus the expense!
Jooo, autumn is coming with big steps for you. For me in Berlin, it's not that far yet. Thanks for that video and greetings from Berlin/ Germany. Sven.......Oh Nancy, before I forget it again, the world's largest trade fair for railways and railway construction (Innotrans 2024) was here in Berlin last week. Maybe the 3 parts are something for you.
