I wasn't going to post these clips as they are from pre Thanksgiving but since I haven't gotten any new footage I decided to post them!

A cold and windy day of chasing the CN to Champion with a stop at the Champion mine. I didn't get the mine footage on this video but will my next video along with some old Champion Depot photos! The track and building map is from 1928 and the only building that remains is the Engine House!

A rare sighting of the CN in L'Anse on a Friday and when I went to Herman on a chance I could catch it I was greeted by the first snow! The next week I caught shove moves in L'Anse!

Please excuse the wind-I have the new windbusters on my camera and am ready to go! I didn't realize how strong the wind was noise and power wise! Summer is definitely over and winter will soon be here! I mixed up the Champion and Peshekee crossing videos but it doesn't affect the days viewing. Sorry!

First two clips are from 10/22/24 and are of CN arriving in Herman and passing through Bovine. Second two clips are of CN arriving in L'Anse 10/24/24. The chase of the CN heading out of L'Anse begins in the next posted video!

A little switching, a Peshekee River crossing and Gravel Lake with it's beautiful red leaves! A busy day for the crew meant no Gravel Lake for me! Still hoping for this coming week. The color is coming on and there are so many places to catch the train! Wish it came everyday!

Random clips from L'Anse Hill!

So I got to Herman early and had time to walk down the L'Anse Hill northbound. I climbed the rock cut and picked my spot-too many trees for clear viewing but I was happy with the result anyway! Then it was on to Tama Siding where I knew I had a couple hours to kill so I went for a ride in Herman Hills. I only saw two loggers the whole time I was in the area -from 8:30 to 1! I caught the CN coming and going as well as trying to catch a lost dog! Unfortunately he was too scared and ran off in the woods on the Herman Hill! He had been lost for a week already and looked pretty skinny! Still hoping he will be found!

I was given a heads up the Geo Train was coming back to L'Anse and I determined to catch it this time! Two days and two hours later it finally arrived! 8/29/24
