In 3.23 league, I copied this character from Pohx's Chief RF build as my starter. And this is my first time to pass T16 and Maven/Red/Blue boss successfully, of course not Uber version, by myself. No matter when leveling or mapping of from T1 to T16, this build performs very well and smoothly for cheap budget. I am so happy that I can do it on my own just following Pohx's guide in this game. Absolutely recommend this build if you don't know how to play this game for the newbies.
Can’t thank you enough for literally making the best new player tutorial build. Decided to go with Jugg but I went from being stuck in act 4 with tons of deaths to getting all four voidstones and 100% delirium. Keep up the awsome content ❤️

Great video. Very informative and entertaining too. You mentioned that while shield charging you are tagged as stationary. While I would love this to be true, the UI tells otherwise. If you equip some Replica Red Trail Titan Greaves, then shield charge, you can see your chaos res dropping, indicating you are not stationary. Keep up the great content.
I just tried this on a league start scenario, where I only used items I picked up and I gotta say, it might be the easiest build I've ever played. Still took me a while as I had to continuously go back to the POB and read things and what not. I dunno how you did three labs and full campaign in under 6 hours, but I guess I must have spent a lot of time in POB lol it took me about 8 hours for two labs and campaign. Not upset with it at all. The fire res cheese that the Chieftan has makes it SOOOO much easier on a league start scenario. Will most def be my league starter this league. I appreciate all the time you've put into not only finding out what works and all the nuances, making it make sense, but also all the work to put in such detailed notes in the POB on each item and skill that needed explanation AND at all levels of the build. You have by FAR the most comprehensive guide I've ever seen. Thank you!
So as I continued to watch, the keyboard adventures actually made the video longer than what it took you to actually complete acts. So I've def gotta get my time down. BTW, it was very entertaining so I'm glad you left that in there lol
Fantastic video. I am pretty new to PoE and this explained a lot for me. Will try this out when the next season starts. You should have removed as much liquid as possible as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will short-circuit your keyboard and or damage it. I personally hold it over my sink upside down and shake it a few times. A hairdryer to remove the rest of the liquid is also advantageous, but don't burn the keyboard. But I laughed really hard.
I think the fact that the keyboard got watery made this even better. I became an RF convert. Appreciate your work. This is a great build very comfy and solid for league start. I can let my kid play while I take a dump. No risk. Unrelated I bought a waterproof keyboard
I was on the fence last season and really wanted to play this build but decided against it. After seeing this video and another one you put out I'm definitely starting Chief RF this season. This is awesome!

Back to playing PoE after years, and Pohx was one of the main people I used to watch, so much has changed and I'm so glad this video was released, the only sad thing is I'm now on Xbox not PC, I wish there was a variation of Pohx's loot filter that's on PC but for us Xbox users. :P

For Mud flats, The 3 nests are connected in a Triangle and connected by the river that flows in the ground. If you just follow the little stream you can make mud flats take 60 seconds.
Pohx I just wanna say thank you so much for this video! I'm following it as we speak. I went with Pathfinder but I wasn't satisfied. I hope this will be a good Leaguea starter so that I can make some currency for other builds!
I copied the guide, threw water on my keyboard at around act 4 (I was slightly ahead of you in terms of gear progression.) However mine kept toggling RF off and on, didn't even get sticky keys. RIP. I've bought a new keyboard and created a new character to try again. Wish me luck!

Fantastic guide, god damn. But I'm far more impressed by the 2ms latency than anything else. Do you have a private VPN tunnel to the servers? Are you playing inside the server room? This is insane. The latency comes entirely from his own hardware, jesus.
@PohxKappa Two things to mention; You said to check for int and movespeed every time you level up. That is no longer how it works after the vendor rework. The gear now lingers for a while in the vendor shop... They framed this as a buff since you no longer need to fear that you'll lose the upgrade you couldn't afford at the time once you level up, since you can come back and buy it after you've done some more looting, but in actuality it's a nerf as we get access to fewer possible upgrades :| The second thing i wanted to mention was that you said you believed you could get 4-l at the end of act 3 or beginning of act 4... if that was the case before, then that was also changed when they did the vendor rework. You can now get 4-l from the vendor as soon as you enter act 3 town. I saw that very thing happen to imexile in his world record eater/exarch DD run. He was lvl 22 at the time. I doubt that matters, but who knows....

It says in PoB that you need at least 100% fire res. You get it from 2x ruby rings (around 50% fire res) , plus your gear and also you can run extra aura purity of elements. Cheers.
I always have a tough time with what league start I should pick. I enjoy Delve, Exped, Sanctum, and kind of Blight. RF, totems, minions, bows, and traps (not mines) have been my favorite.
may i ask if u will ever make a flicker strike build video like this? I tried some build i found online but never grasp the right leveling path. This one is so good to understand every passage
for simulating reset i always just clear out a single stash page and turn off affinities in the stash settings. That way i dont have to clog up my inventory with stuff but i still know its kept separate.
Hey Pohx, could you maybe make a copy of the loot filter available for consoles as well? Or maybe someone could explain to me how to copy it from a pc to xbox filter?
Personally I found that if I have a spare blue socket throw clarity in, if you have one, it really helps with mana in act 1 and a little in act 2 Edit: I posted the comment and then like a minute later he said the same thing in the video lmao
I started this build several seasons, the rolling mag and flamewall always bothered me. I am testing 3.24 starter now, and I chose using cobra lash from a Lv1 shadow, feel much better than intel skills and doesn't affect the transition to RF.
Amazing video! Thanks for all the hard work. One small comment: you don't level the gems on witch also, because else you cannot use them at lvl 2 templar, because they are lvl 4 req
I am sick, and laughing this much kind of hurts. Advice for water accidents on keyboard: Unplug it. If you can't open it, let a fan blow on it for about 15~30 minutes, maybe more, depends on the quantity of water. If you can open it, then just dry it with a paper towel, don't rub, just press. Most keyboards nowadays won't get any permanent damage from liquids, but they can get rust over time if this happens too often.
Great video Pohx. My first time using RF and it is a lot of fun. I find I can't use Determination and Purity of Elements at the same time but can use Vitality and Purity of Elements simultaneously. What is the fix for that? Thanks!
How do I add fire resistance without a hideout? Just started the game and following this guide but now I got to the point in act 2 you are adding fire resistance and I am stuck.
your guide for lvl 90 + is showing 100k full dps, not sure how well its calculating when its rightous fire, but how would you compare the damage on t17 maps, guardians, and ubers with the guides that has 20-50 mil full dps on the POB?
90 going block based shows about 2.7M for me, this is going to be more than fine for t16 map blasting / void stones. T17 / Ubers will require more investment (you can look at the later gear sets) I never really recommend RF for rushing ubers/t17 though
In the tree you have chosen "Protection Mastery" for Corrupted blood cannot inflict on you and in Pantheon you choose "Soul of Ralakesh" who also do almost the same, why?
Ralakesh provides extreme bleed reduction which is not the same thing as corrupted blood immunity. The small pantheon is flexible but if you swap it you're going to need a flask for remove bleed

Hey Pohx, I'm a really new player but I understand the common concepts in PoE. I'm willing to try this starter in the Necropolis league so thanks for the detailed guide! I have one question, why do you take Elemental Proliferation with the Witch if the PoB says to take the Summon Phantasm?
Because the room where the waypoint is is in the middle of the zone, and the exit is never where you came from (obviously). That leaves you with three possible options, and if you stand in the middle of the room that contains the waypoint, and walk to the waypoint, just keep walking in the same direction to find the exit. In other words, you're not looking at the waypoint itself like you do in the ledge for those three small rocks, but rather where the waypoint is located in the room. Did that make sense? EDIT: Tbh though, if you go the wrong way it really doesn't matter so much, because you'll always find a blue pack in the dead ends, so at least you get some good xp :) It's the same in the docks zone. Pohx was lucky in this run, but usually you'll go "the wrong way" quite a few times in that zone before you find what you want, and in every single dead end there'll be a blue pack waiting for ya, so it's ok-ish :)

does anyone know, when he says you can buy items such as immortal flesh belt or kikazaru ring for one chaos orb if you're in a trading league, does this mean trading one chaos orb to a real player for one of these items or doing it through in-game means such as the vendor?

did you play jugg rf in 3.23? did it lack clear speed?
@@chxtz4056 Yes I did it for affliction. After getting a relatively cheap 6 link it basically made everything before red maps a joke.

You need that one part of the tree where you gain health Regen for every single uncapped fire res

Fellow rolling magma hater here, I just use fireball with ignite and then add flame totem until i get RF going.

I needed to complete the Sovereignty node. That allows simultaneous use of Determination and Purity of Elements.
So the shortcut Shift + Z + X is to enable Ruthless temporary without starting over? Good to know. Kripp would love that :)

How are you sustaining in act 2 as there is no life regen what so ever on gear
Fire mastery. 1 Regen per 1 percent of fire resistance. Uncapped as well. So the number in parentheses

Phantasm is for the Holy Flame totem setup which I skip. Prolif is for rolling magma

When you say that the waypoint is pointing somewhere… how do you know? It’s a triangle. I can’t notice anything different from it’s pointing ends 😢

Chamber of sins? You go out the exit next to the way point
Because the room where the waypoint is is in the middle of the zone, and the exit is never where you came from (obviously). That leaves you with three possible options, and if you stand in the middle of the room that contains the waypoint, and walk to the waypoint, just keep walking in the same direction to find the exit.
In other words, you're not looking at the waypoint itself like you do in the ledge for those three small rocks, but rather where the waypoint is located in the room. Did that make sense?
EDIT: Tbh though, if you go the wrong way it really doesn't matter so much, because you'll always find a blue pack in the dead ends, so at least you get some good xp :) It's the same in the docks zone. Pohx was lucky in this run, but usually you'll go "the wrong way" quite a few times in that zone before you find what you want, and in every single dead end there'll be a blue pack waiting for ya, so it's ok-ish :)

I love this video, i come back to it regularly while making a similar build, but i have question, and it may be a noob question, but i always store my currency inside my stash tab, so why do you hold on to your currency when playing?

does anyone know, when he says you can buy items such as immortal flesh belt or kikazaru ring for one chaos orb if you're in a trading league, does this mean trading one chaos orb to a real player for one of these items or doing it through in-game means such as the vendor?
