  • This 20-minute hatha yoga class is perfect for anyone who wants a full body stretch, without using their wrists, hands or forearms! This will be a slower-paced practice with a little bit of flow, but more time to hold each pose. There are no downward-facing dogs, planks or chaturangas in this sequence. We will begin with a standing sequence and end with supine stretches. All levels welcome and no props needed.

    I've developed a bad case of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and can't do downward facing dog, etc. until it's resolved, so I'm extra grateful for this lovely sequence.

      In in the same situation. How has it come along for you and are you doing anything besides rest for your carpal tunnel?

      @@myself171 I've been using a brace (at night) and doing some exercises, but my right hand is still a problem. I hope I won't have to have surgery for it.

    I'm so thankful for this wrist-free yoga flow. My wrists have been aching for a while now and, besides it impacting daily activity, I'm saddened my yoga practice has also been neglected. I've enjoyed this class with you and would certainly be happy to see more wrist-free yoga!

    I have a condition called Tenosynovitis and this happened when I was doing downward dog. I am so happy for this Wrist Free Hatha Yoga class. It was amazing. You are an amazing teacher Jess. Thank you for this video

    I really enjoyed doing this yoga. My wrists and hands often hurt
    when I do some of the yoga moves but they don't have to when I do this one. And I like the fact that there is no music to drown out your calm and clear instructions . I hope there will be more of this kind of yoga .

    What a great idea to let go of the downward facing dog for a change. That position is not ideal for anyone having reflux issues. Thank you Jessica!

    Really enjoyed your class....currently having a lil issue w/my right shoulder, hence no downward/upward facing dog....must be wrist/hands free for a lil while. Giving you humble thanks.

    The timing on this could not have been better. I have been managing carpal tunnel and just today decided to start finding hands free classes, and find that my favorite yogi literally just posted a hands free class. Thank you, Jessica!!

    Thank you for posting this practice. I practice Ashtanga and even short/modified practices are wrist and shoulder heavy. This practice was really restorative. I will do it again!

    I had no idea what this class would bring. I was tired from soooooo much gardening yesterday my body felt like lead. 🤔no hands class....I think I can do this?.....wow I Loooooved it♥️...I feel so much better.😁🙏

    Thank you so much for doing a wrist-free sequence! I have Fibromyalgia, and my wrists hurt every day. I can't hold downward dog, and I definitely cannot lift my legs in downward dog; so I just hang out doing nothing at those times. :/ If you want to add anymore wrist-free sequences... Or if you could tell us more options to do at those times instead of downward dog in other sequences, I would really appreciate it! Thank you for all you do!

    This was a beautiful flow. At the end of the flow and the little meditation and when i opened my eyes i felt like the room was bright than it was when i closed my eyes. I am so grateful for this lesson. ☀️👀

    So nice as a morning yoga! I find it difficult to warm my wrists up properly in the morning for a lot of yoga I think because I sleep with my wrists extremely flexed, thank you! C

    Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to do yoga without stressing the wrists. I was too ambitious on handstand and jump through. Could make use of another edition of this exercise with more advanced stretches and twists.
