Everyday Yoga - Full Body Stretch & Tension Relief | 20-Min Yoga Class

- De-stress and relieve overall tension with this calm, 20-minute full body hatha yoga class. Enjoy a slow flow to physically help open up your body from head to toe, and to mentally help quiet your mind. All levels welcome.
The class starts grounded in child's pose to connect with the breath. We'll move into a child's to cobra flow to open up the hips, spine and chest.
Stretch the lower body through a toe/ankle stretch and downward dog.
The sequence continues into standing side body stretches and a standing forward fold with a deep shoulder stretch. Other postures included are runners lunge, high lunge, pyramid with a bind, warrior II, reverse warrior, triangle, wide legged forward fold + twist, yogi squat and seated neck stretches.
This class can be practiced any time of day and does not contain music.

May I make an observation regarding music in the background?
Very often people insert the music to create an ambiance or enhance the relaxing experience. I often find the music distracting to the practice, and I have to strain a bit to direct my attention to blocking out the music so I can hear the instructions.

Hi Jessica. I start my morning practice with you. I discovered your channel in the pandemic and have been a loyal subscriber. I recently had knee replacement surgery on my right and left knees to repair worn down menisci due to my days playing football. I attribute my recovery to my great PT team and the daily workouts with you to regain my flexibility and strength. Keep up the great work. From Detroit with love!
This was absolutely perfect! Was feeling anxious and stiff before the practice. Really calmed down in just 20 minutes. Love to see more slow, mindful flow/full body classes.
