I didn't know it going into it, but I can't imagine a better vehicle to restore. Parts are available and not too expensive, and everything is so simple, plus there's a market for them when it's done. Depending how many hours you put into one you might not get your money out of it in labor, but if you're also making content, there's that, so you can't really lose.
Rabbits are really cool animals.
This is the first rabbit we've ever had. My roommates brother passed away and we took his cat and rabbit. Luckily the cat seems to really like the rabbit and lays near him alot. The rabbit does some funny stuff sometimes lol.
I just painted my Samurai. left some of the dents in it too. Its a forty year old car and still going. I'm ok with it. I would not worry about it to much. You will never get your money and time back out of it. Just drive it and enjoy it. Great video. Long live Samurais.
That's the truth. It's a labor of love. They made them with such thin metal they dent very easy. I didn't realize how many mine had until the wrap was on. The gloss makes them really easy to see.
@@FixLife119 Your Samurai looks great and the dents add character. Dents have a history path, like going four wheeling through a creek bed. Those dents are part of memories. My dents show mine has had a rough life but she is in good hands now.

@@keemoe1329 Thank you again. She's close to being done. Finally got her legal the other day, not by passing emissions, but by getting Hagerty insurance and registering it as a classic so I don't need to pass emissions lol. $329/year for great ins. You might wanna check to see if they'll cover Trackers. I'm glad because it runs so good I didn't want to have to detune it a bunch. I've said before I think I've learned more from UA-cam than 16 years of school. You can learn just about anything on here.

Hey thanks, it prob looks like confidence but pretty much everything I do I just feel my way through it. Just gotta start, then make adjustments as you go. I think home gamers can do pretty much anything, just takes us way longer than the pro's lol. So you're planning a full frame off restoration? That thing is def a worthy candidate! With mine I'm just trying to make it the best version of itself lol.
Yeah I always had a full resto in mind, the problem is the really big tasks I had planned I don't have equipment/ expertise to do myself, so that sorta puts the $ up getting people lined up to do it. Once the bodywork done I'll be more active pulling everything together I've sourced and restoring other stuff I've got off wrecks. Still can't decide on color.🙄
@@andrebaumbach9447 Yeah that's alot of money to do something like that, and extremely time consuming to do yourself, plus it takes way more storage when it's all apart. What kind of body work does it need? You could prob do it yourself very cheap. Even if you had to hire a welder for a day or 2 once you know everything that needs to be done. If it's just minor dings a sanding block will get it straight. I dont like filler very much so I always do short strand fiberglass (up to 1/2" gap and long strand for up to an inch I think). Personally if it's over about 1/4" I always try to beat it close, then do the glass, then filler at the very end. It's really easy, and it's fun to do, I'm just so sick of sanding. If you've never used the filler or fiberglass you just mix the hardener in the filler and lay it down, then wait a few min and start sanding. Anyways, from your video that thing looked pretty straight so hopefully it's just minor dings.
@@FixLife119 yeah there is a few little rust spots but nothing serious. It hasn't really rusted in the usual spots. Passenger door needs straightening , probably some good prep work would do it but the whole body off frame is really needed as someone has just hit it with a few coats over factory color everywhere, and it's a mess underneath. Might save some money with doing some prep , rust spots and stripping myself before it goes into a shop for a month or 2.

Lol, right. I used to call them world elites, now I call em globalist elites. Nobody knows who is really running the show for the world, that's the scary part. If our so called elected leaders were running the show you wouldn't have the same agenda being followed in every country. Right now every white majority country in the world is being overwhelmed with illegal immigration, that's not a coincidence. We watch them daily as they try to kill the dollar by coming up with reasons to print more. It's a bad joke and we're gonna pay the price. If we have an EMP soon it'll prob be in the form of a nuclear detonation. I was actually worried that these supposed coronal mass elections from the sun were a possible scapegoat for an EMP from a satellite or something. You're better off than 98% of people my friend. Its the people who think they're prepped who are not. Unless people have 2 years of food or a sustainable source like you they're screwed, including me. People who are in neighborhoods are screwed, that also includes me, dang I'm screwed lol.
Yeah man I really didn't ever want to ask people to sub but I guess they don't think about it otherwise. Doesn't seem to have made a huge difference but a few people I know are having friends and family sub. When I'm watching something if I like it I subscribe pretty quick then if I watch it a few times and don't like it I'll unsubscribe. I usually never think to hit the thumbs up unless I hear them say it though. Did u check out that LJ80V. That's gonna be a sick little build.

That's a time in history that screwed the US think it was around 1920ish maybe closer to the30s when we left the gold standard. One world government coming our way.

I'm so used to seeing that it doesn't even trigger anything in my brain so if people suck like me, it won't work lol. Its more meaningful when the poor schmuck loses all dignity and begs for it. If I ever get to 1000 I'd like to stop saying it. Then again I bet they all say that, then find out it's kinda necessary.
