Hello, thank you for showing us how to do all of this. I plan t do the Modified Bitumen Torch over tar and gravel next summer; the one item I am unsure about is how to terminate over the edge of a stucco parapet. There is no metal drip edge, what is the best way to seal the edge of the two layers on top of the stucco parapet? Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Of course, most roofers would rather tear the roof off and install a new one,of course that’s where they make the money. However, being in Canada, I see a lot of roofers make tremendous amount of mistakes installing roofs, and when I get called to come fix a leak, on a brand new roof is because when it comes to pitch pockets, HVAC etc. they do not do a good job properly detailing there work around pipes, chimneys, etc. etc. good job guys from flat roof doctor in the US.

100% agree 👍 it's safer in that there's less chance of walking off the edge of the roof, some roofers won't walk on the felt in case they leave foot prints, but if the correct heat is used no footprints will accure.

This is some real hack stuff. First of all I would of ripped the whole roof. Your whole new roof is relying on peel and stick. You have a leak and it goes under that peel and stick, first wind storm its blowing right off. It's called using asphalt primer. I see you've never done warranty work. If a manufacturer seen us put down some roofer in a can as a permanent roof. They would make us rip the whole roof off again. For very good reason....it doesn't last. It's a temporary solution.

Probably answering my own question on a epdm/fiberboard/pea gravel flat roof and the fiberboard has gotten saturated and the hold downs have rusted and backed off in places. Short term fix is to use the Super Silicone seal/polyester before the next storm on every gap and tear. Other than replacing all the EPDM and fiberboard (and re-establishing some more slope with pea gravel) anything else that can be done long term?

Ok I was just watching this video --- (4030) U.S. PLY How to - Torch Application Techniques - UA-cam , and he says the temperature needs to be be above 45 degrees F. And you are making it work at 28 degrees F. So you are using a different product, or more likely you just know how to make it work at colder temperatures. I was about to give up since winter is fast approaching but now I might be able to do a torch down roof in cold weather since you can do it.
There is a Roofing Supply not too far from me. So do I just tell them what I am putting down and see what they have in stock? Can I just use the nail down base compatible with the Modified Bitumen and then the Modified Bitumen cap sheet? Or would it be better to use a 2 layer system. Of course the middle layer would have no granules on it.
I think you said Magnum torches and Raptor Express torch for details. You could be an Amazon seller and make some money.
