@@SimplyMustGowhat’s the biggest difference between the two, minus the price? Are the water hoses good quality on both, the quick connectors etc? I bought a Joolca Nomad for my in laws property and have been shopping the Bouge, Camplux and Fogetti for my family.
@@dominiciocca2842 To be honest, while they are a little different, I can't tell any quality difference between the hoses or the connectors. They all feel perfectly fine for their purpose.
Nice vid buddy! I literally just got one of these too and I love it. So much better than the old hanging style that you have to provide your own pump for.
I really like the video and especially to learn there are options for a camp shower. We have been using a portable shower called "Zodi Hot Shower" that is a simplified version of the BougeRV. The Zodi shower worked good for us and it got the job done, but this unit is pretty awesome! Thanks for the great video and the clear overview of the BougeRV!
I have the same one. I noticed that if the spray nozzle isn't turned up to full spray, the heater won't fire up. Must have something to do with the water flow sensor. Otherwise, it works great. Yes, the handle sucks. I ended up removing the interior nut, put a washer the same diameter as the inner tube and placed the washer above the shoulder where the nut sits in, then screw it all back together with a nylon locking nut. I just locked it into a 45-degree position. I also have the joolca, which has a lot of set-up time with all the hoses and connections, and this is better for a vehicle based situation. The joolca is good for a home or maybe a large RV. Get a Scepter water can, has a larger hole for the pump.
great video. I like to carry a second water jug for showers so my filter doesn't corrupt my drinking water. I run a Joolca... but I'm not sure if I like it or not. It might be better if I didn't have to reattach so many hoses everytime I have to get setup. and sometimes... it just randomly quit making hot water in the middle of a shower.
Yeah I’m the same. I want a designated shower water jug to keep it separated from drinking water. So far I’m very happy with this shower unit. Just need to get a better water storage solution.
@@SimplyMustGo I'm thinking a 4->8 gallon pressurized and mounted tank might be my solution. But it feels like a trailer setup rather than adding more weight to the already obese jeep. ....so... I'd need a trailer too.
My wife and I have had a Camplux for 4 years now and love it, nothing like being able to stay clean while camping.
Yeah the Camplux is the system I had before this. It’s great for the right setup.
@@SimplyMustGo That’s true, and the unit you’re talking about is awesome as well, excellent piece of camping gear for sure!! 👍

I'm from the first group of Overlanders🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like it CLEAN BABYYYYYYY
Perfect timing on this! I'm currently shopping for a hot water solution.
It’s a great little unit!

The nut hack on the handle is a great idea!
Just subscribed to the channel just saw you’re jeep at a gas station and have to say you’re paint scheme on the jeep is amazing
Thank you so much! Yeah had to get a caffeine fix before filming my next video. 😂
@ I can understand that.

Dude love the beard!
Hahaha thanks, I'm trying it out. Figured if I don't like it, I can blame it on No Shave November. 🤣
Been looking at this one as well…
I really like it.
It's Bougeeeee
I’m only guessing that you should only use potable water and not water from a river or lake?
I think it would depend on the lake or river, but generally I don't think that filter would do more than filter out heavy particles.
do you still have Emu.?
I do! A lot of changes are about to happen with it. Stay tuned!
