honestly? i havent used unreal before watching your videos, but already with what ive learned? using the waterbody component, you can select the "waterbodylake" component, search "blend" in details and set the blend mode of the component to "additive", to get rid of that hard edge without moving or adjusting your actual water body at all, or needing to make a new hole after levelling it with the surface.
