- The Last of Us, an HBO series based on the action-adventure video game of the same name, has made GAY HEADLINES for its third episode in the opening season. Nick Offerman (of Parks & Rec fame) and Murray Bartlett star as a queer couple just tryna get by in a Zombie-pandemic. The episode has surprised viewers by it's touching nature and has some shocked that the show "went gay".

I just loved the episode and the love story helped with the dead of ANNA TORV / Tess because I loved her in "Fringe" and was really happy to see her again... 5 min before, I was telling my friend with whom I was watching the episode that at least with this series since there are only 3 heroes, we may have less death than in the other post apocalyptic series...
the show's ending for this two is definitely better than the game
personally i wish they got to know each other more before getting involved

Awesome episode. I love that this doesn't matter to the overall storyline of the show (I assume) but that they took a whole episode to give these two gays a happy life when it shouldn't have been possible. A++. Also seeing Ron Swanson, the manliest of men being gay was excellent, love it.
Yes that is really cool that in this world these gays kinda got a somewhat nice life! I saw an interview where Offerman said his wife told him he had to take the role. I’m glad she did. He totally nailed it.

Yes you totally can. The episode is almost a standalone. I’d say going in it tells you all you need to know in the beginning before flashing to Bill and Frank. Just, in this world a pandemic has happened where millions of people turned to zombies. That’s pretty much all you need to know!
