FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO MAKE IT BIGGER: (I know it isn't intentional but the instructions for making it bigger feels like an afterthought and a lot of extra work that also has no visual so I made it easier for my fellow busty people :D) - chain until it reaches your half bust length(or longer, however you want it make sure to count). -however many you have, subtract 39 from it(if the number is odd then add one more or less chain) - then divide that number by 2 and place stitch markers that many chains in on either side. - then +1 and just single crochet like normal and look back at the tutorial when you get to your stitch marker. Example: mine was 63 chains. 63-39=24. 24%2=12 so I put stitch markers 12 in on either side then I chain one and start my single crochets and just follow the tutorial when im within the stitch markers EDIT FOR STRAPS: I personally made my panel go around my sides so I don't spill and get extra support. the straps have to be different but its not hard. - for back mesh stitches it make it to the height of whole panel - sew up sides - make 2 thick straps for support with hdc and then sew that to front(closer to middle for the support and the back
I’m ngl I was a little disappointed when I found out the pattern was on Etsy by then you loterallly made a whole ass yt tut like honestly props to you for making this it’s beautiful
ty!! and i know that not everyone can buy the pattern, but its the only way i am being compensated for my work ;-; i wanted to make both options available because when i first started out, i rlly appreciated tutorials! but those who have the means to chip in for a pattern, it means a lot 🥹
That's how a lot of designers are even able to make free tutorials.. they charge for the .PDF file. So if you want an actual copy you have to pay for it. If not, you can use the video. There are so many people who do it this way.. so I'd suggest for future purposes l, if you don't wanna pay for a pattern, try to look it up on UA-cam or the designer's blog (if they have one) first. Then if they don't have it posted for free, buy the pattern. It's not her fault you didn't bother searching first.
Tip: so bc I’m a bit of a mid-sized girlie (btw this goes for all body types ✨) I’d recommend for the star panel js chain however many fit and however many you think would be good for you then you won’t have to do extensions or anything and it’ll save SOOO MUCH time. I promise you lol 💋
THIS TOP IS BEAUTIFUL AND I JUST FINISHED IT TODAY!! the tutorial was so easy to follow and it's probably the easiest tutorial I've tried!! LOVE IT SM TY
SUCH A GOOD TOP OMG- I just finished mine with brown and white yarn and I'm absolutely in love!! you did such a good job explaining :) thank you sososo much!!
Made this today! To make the star a little more opaque [ since the main color pokes through sometimes ], I dropped the colors along the back as I went- it saves yarn as well, even though it takes a bit longer to do ^^
Thank you for this tutorial!! This is the 2nd tutorial I have completed from you this week and it was so easy for both! I do wish i watched the whole video before starting because I did extend my star panel a little too wide for the straps to be in the corner so imma try n freestyle it n see what i can do but the rest is perfect! im so obsessed! imma make it again in different colorways! ☺️
IT CAME OUT SO ADORABLE WHAT 😭😭 thank you sooooooo much for this tutorial it was so clear, and pls keep updating tuts cause i am in love w you and your tuts now!!! also, when i get enough yarn, i think my next project will be the heart mesh top!
i have notes on how to adjust it in the video and in my pattern 🙃 it shouldn’t affect the star design bc modifications are done after making the star panel. hope that helps!
Hey, i love your tutorials and i tried making this top with a 6.5mm crochet hook. i can see different colour yarn in the star as i weved in the darker colour or the main colour. Any recommendation for the colour not to be seen??
hiiii! so i REALLY love this top and really really wanna make it but even if i did make it, the backless part is a lil too "scary". also because i dont think my mom would allow me to wear it. thanks tho on the wonderful tutorial! if its possible is there like another pattern that you know of that has a backing? thanks!!!
Hey! I really struggle with making the waist belt fit right. It always streches a lot and loses shape. Any tips? (Btw i really love this pattern. It's so easy and quick)
I WANNA MAKE THIS SO BADDDD PLEASE TELL ME HOW MUCH YARN I WILL ROUGHLY NEED TO MAKE IT IN SIZE XS WITH 4 PLY YARN AND 3 MM HOOK? AND IM ALSO MAKING IT A BIT LONGER PLEASE TELL MEEE
im trying to follow it but every time i make it, because we are sc over the base color the front side you can see the base color but on yours i cant even see it so idk what im doing wrong 😭
I'm following the tutorial and it's getting so lovely, I'm just trying to make it bigger, thank you very much for the tutorial !!! 💗💗 and if it doesn't bother you, would you tell me what brand of yarn you use? please
amazing tutorial, but i used brown base and white star, and when i carried the base through it kept showing in the star. it wasn't ugly or bad, but yours doesn't show any base, why is that?
hmm, if i had to guess it may be because you should pull the base tighter so that the star color is closer together to hide it? or maybe the yarn is thinner than mine. hope that helps!
Ok unfortunately I made this shirt but was unable to actually wear it because I couldn’t find a way for this pattern to cater to the fact that I have a bigger chest. I really loved this tutorial and it was pretty easy to follow but for anyone who has bigger breasts this might not work.
you can always make it like a corset type vibe. to close on the waist part. so it still goes over your chest but it fits snuggly on the bottom. though then for the mesh youd have to change the pattern a bit so it doesnt look silly, like decreasing so it doesnt look like theres extra squares. tho the waist and the back wouldnt be attached then. and that sounds complicated now that i think about it😭💀
