Hey everyone, I wanted to correct a mistake in the video.
At 8:25 it should be 14 dc instead of 15. my apologies!
IF YOUR WORK KEEPS GETTING BIGGER:
When you chain 2 for each row, don't start crocheting from the stitch right next to your chain. Instead, start half-double crocheting in the 2nd stitch from your chain 2. This should help avoid adding an extra stitch to each of your rows.
IF YOUR MAIN BODY KEEPS SHRINKING:
1. Make sure you chain 2 after every row
2. Be careful not to skip any stitch along your work, as it is often easy to accidentally look over them.
IF YOUR RIBBING KEEPS SHRINKING
1. Make sure to chain one at the end of every row!
2. After your chain 1 for each new row, start single crocheting in the stitch directly next to your hook
3. If you are a beginner, keep track of how many stitches you have until you get the hang of it. After the first row, each row should consist of 11 stitches!
Hi tysm for this tutorial but I still don’t know how to not make the hand warmer wider, and I don’t really understand when u said that consider each new row as a stitch. So can u pls explain it again in a different way since English isn’t my first language thank you! ❤🧶
@@stickman59 i have just updated the comment above, so hopefully that helps :) if not, feel free to reply to this comment
@@kaytikrochets Tysm u have no idea how much this helped!❤️
I still can’t figure out how not to make the main body not shrink😭
I have a question, for the ribbing, do I single crochet in the second stitch from the hook just for the first stitch or do I continue that pattern through the entire thing?
For the people whose projects are getting too large as you go on, I recommend crocheting 30 rows instead of 33 while making the ribbing at the the bottom and doing the rest as shown! This completely fixed the problem for me :] excellent tutorial thank you for this!
mine keeps getting smaller! Any tips for this?
@@MariaFatima-vq9prdo the sc the whole way, even at the end until the rows are the same length
i do that but the row kept getting smaller?@@allo3017
Please tell me what do I do? Mine one is getting shorter i am a beginner please help me 🙏
I’ve already done all the main body then realised it’s too big 😢 any way to fix it?
after a few days and a lot attempts i made it ! thank you for being part of my first crochet project :D
no because thank u so much for specifying that u need to do the BACK loop and not the front one, i've seen a lot of tutorials and u were literally the only one who could taught me how to do single crochet
They turned out so cute! It was also very customizable, which is great since I have very small but long hands so these types of things don’t always fit me. It was also super fast to make, only took me like an evening to make a pair. Now I wanna make matching ones for my gf too, they’re a super cute gift and very comfy when it’s cold.
OML THIS SOUNDS SO CUTE 😭😭😭😭
i really want to make a pair for my gf also, but she lives far away from me and we didn’t see each other every :((
hope u are cool together!! how did she react on the present?
@@wqurisik I'm late, but depending on how far away she lives you have options.
If she lives very very very far away, you can send a package. But if it's not too far(same state/city or two cities together) then you can use one of those taxi delivering services. They arrive to you, you give them the package, and then they drive to your gf.
@@lasignora660 i knew itt, but we broke up like a month ago, but i’m not sad abt it and i’m totally alright! thank u for ur help tho!!
@@wquris oh damn 😭😭
This is the best tutorial ever. I just bought the materials to start crochet 2 days ago, and I already finished the first one!! Really helpful, you made it look so easy and it was so easy to follow
i am from Russia and in our Russian UA-cam i could not find an understandable tutorial on these heating pads. I am very glad that i found it with you, thanks for doing it!♡
Я знала что я не одна)
У вас получилось?
@@narratorfateу меня все получилось :)
TYSM I have been crocheting for abt 3 months now and I have been looking for easy to follow tutorials, this has been a lifesaver and exactly what I am looking for. This was so easy and I wore them to school and everyone was asking where I got them because they wanted one!
I did this as my first project ever and it was a great tutorial! I did a black with white outline and a different attachement!
omg!! this is my first project, too! Plus I using black. This is prefect for begginners!
@@MollyHaberme 2 im using black with green im still working on it wish me luck
Good Lucky!! I'm sure it will look amazing!@@isvel5887

hiiii! i just wanted to say i love this tutorial and i made these as gifts twice and both people loved them! now that it’s getting colder again i’m making myself a pair and i know i’ll wear them all the time. also i could listen to you speak for hours you have such a soothing voice ok thanks so much!

I have never in my life crocheted anything now you've convinced me that I can do this
This what I was exactly looking for!! Thanks for the helpful tutorial :)))
love to hear it! ♡
I love your video, this has been by far the easiest and most beginner friendly. I tried out a couple of different tutorials but never been able to do them properly. This video helped me complete my first ever project for my cute lil blue wrist warmer. Thank you so much I'm so proud.
Same for me here i looked at the other one and i was like HUH this is very helpful
Not for everyone 😒
I need more tutorials with crochet!!! Thank you so much for your efforts
I fell in LOVE with the pattern and I made it yesterday.. it turned out really pretty
So underrated, love your videos so much please don’t stop posting ❤
Now in my country is raining season,it's really cold so I crochet this hand warmer for myself..
It turns out really good and cute too
My hand is a bit long so I chain 8 rounds instead of 5
This is the easiest tutorial I've ever watched,I hope you can continue making this kind of tutorial ❤
Thanks!! This was easy to follow and didn’t take long to finish. I love the result, thank you for sharing this🤍
These are so cute omg and really easy to memorize, I managed to do the second one without the video ily for this tutorial
Omggg so glad i found ur channel, uv literally made all the projects i want to make
This is so adorable and simple tysm for the tut :))
it’s so pretty cryinggg
these are so cute! definitely gonna try it soon 🥰
Announcement to everyone 🗣️🗣️🗣️ make sure you put it on your hand from time to time while making it to check if it’s too tight or loose, make it to your fitting! Not the video creator’s fitting!!
I did it and the gloves turned out beautiful!! I had a little difficulty understanding the tutorial since English is not my first language but in the end everything worked out fine. A kiss from Brazil 😽❤️
idk why but even though I’m using weight 4 yarn, the 12 rows are really small and get smaller as I go on. 🫠
For me, after I ended the thumb hole, I started going into the first stitch instead of the second and stayed the same size for me.
Sameeee
SSAMEEE
Are you chaining one every time you add rows?
@@novusv.1854 no
This could really go well with the Cardigan merch of Taylor Swift 😭😍(also I saw this 13 days after you posted! Coincidence? I think not 🤭)
I thought the SAMEE, if you idea darker yarn for the outline and 3 tiny stars, it could be cardigan theme
i wanna like but its on 13 😭
oml tysm!!! I’ve made a pair for my mum and my little sister. They love it SOO much!!!
i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!!! TYSM THIS WAS MY FIRST CROCHET PROJECTT

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial, I wouldn't say I'm a beginner. I've been crocheting for 3-4 years but not that much. That's why I don't have that much confidence in myself yet. But the tutorial is very good, I didn't think it would be that easy. THANKS 🥹🫶

@@--kim_layan--did you mean the slipknot? Or the chain
this is a really good tutorial, thank you! i miscalculated the size of mine because it's way too loose on my hand but otherwise the stitches look good, it was easy to understand!

I’m a beginner and this was really helpful! The only part I struggled on was the sc back loop only 😔 I didn’t understand it, but I’m gonna try again soon since I only learned to crochet yesterday 😭
i also learned how to crochet yesterday! it can be hard at first
Mhaha me too! i js learned yesterday but learned only chains so this is gonna be hard i am struggling too at back loops and so is my mom😪😪Hahah
same here, my chains became 8 chains and I was really confused.
Thank you soooo much. I'll do one for my best friend then one for myself. Amd also it's gonna bi a little bit like a arm warmer I want it longer. Thanks for the awesome tutorial
Well it became TOOO BIG I had to gift it to my mother. Thanks I guess
Tysm this really helped me
it worked thanks.
Thank You and i love your video
Hiii! I'm currently doing the main body and I'm on row 7. When you say hdc until the end, where exactly is the end? How big should that gap be? 😊Btw I love this so much, I'm obsessed with the way it turned out!
thx I'm level 2 on crocheting this helps me
I finally done it
I did this without the stars and it looks so cool i really like it🥺 thanks for the tut video💜
At 4:30 do you crochet into every other stitch? Or into every single one
@@Andres-xw5vq i am also a bit confused on that, i just finished the first row of the main body anddd im js wishing it works out lol
@@Andres-xw5vq btw im just crocheting into every single stitch from the 2nd row onwards and its working for me, im not sure tho!
hi, thank you for this tutorial! it’s so easy and simple :) i have one question, what yarn are you using for the hand part of the warmer? would really appreciate if you would reply :).
