    I've been crocheting for about 10 years but I've always shied away from clothes because I was never good at checking gauge or measurements. Every once in a while I would try out a beginner pattern but it wouldn't fit me right or the pattern wasn't suitable to my body type. You made something that was daunting to me feel so feasible! I love that you used a pattern to demonstrate the techniques that can be used to create any top. Now I don't have to worry about gauge, material, or if the pattern will fit me. This is wonderful, in-depth yet easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to make this and share your knowledge!

    Hey for the people that wanted to know how much yarn this for you !!!! I just made one and I recommend for slim person 4 yarns for middle 5 or 6 and for someone who is heavy 6 or 7. But you know it depends also per person but this is what I did and I used 4 yarns because I am slim.

    If I'm making this a full length shirt do I make increases for my hips?

    Whenever I try to crochet a clothing item, I need to make it about 6" - 10" less in width than my actual body width. For example, ny size is 34" but my crochet clothes' sizes need to be 28" to fit me. otherwise, they're oversized even though my tension is just fine. I was wondering does anyone else seem to have this issue. I don't see it talked about at all.

      @anjelageorgee Рік тому

      Yes, I agree! Using slip stitches, I completed the bodice part of her tutorial, but the increase I made in the chest was too much as my body is hourglass shaped. Although I kept checking it out on my body and crocheting, now it doesn't fit me at all and looks like a loose bowl around my upper body. I have to admit it's disappointing because I don't want to open all my hard work.

      Unless you have a large chest size.. then no lol. You’ll do what fits to your size and then just fill out that size until you need to start decreasing :)

    Can you make is without the increases/decreases or will it then turn out wierd?

      Yes but if the person doesn’t have any increase or decrease in the body then it’ll be fine, but if there is increase or decrease then maybe it will be weird
