how did they not include the lovely bones?! omg. i know it's not the best film, but her performance as Susie Salmon i think was her best performance as a child.
Saoirse is only 30 but her filmography is so admirable. So many diverse, iconic movies did she star in. Teen drama, young adult fiction, classical romance. Then there's the frequent collaborations with Greta and Timothee. This generation is very lucky to have her on the big screen.
She should have won the Oscar for almost every movie she's been in, especially "Atonement". Her performance in that film was nothing short of masterful - at 13, no less ! Truly one of today's finest actresses.
Saoirse Ronan is just so gifted. Everything I've seen her in she knocks it out of the park. She has been nominated so many times and hasn't won. She will win an oscar. She has to.
yeah I was surprised that Brooklyn wasn't mentioned. specially with the release of her new movie, I though that her team will try to push her more so she might got nomination of Oscar or something (like how Selena's team did before the releasing of Emilia Pérez). like 3 of movies that got mentioned she got a nomination for. And for me at this point I want her to get another nomination or win actually, she's one of those actresses that it's long over-due for how great she is.
You can see how much she loves movies, by the way she humbly watches the movie, first and foremost as a fan, with childlike enthusiasm. But then in front of the camera, she's a stunning performer, and a true master of her craft. I love people like that. Humble and brilliant.
not putting the lovely bones on this line up is a crime! life changing movie and one of her best performances (although everything i’ve ever seen her in she’s been absolutely amazing)
She's consistently been my favorite actor for 17 years. What an actual legend! I wish her roles in 'The Lovely Bones', 'Brooklyn', 'The Host', 'Ammonite', 'Mary, Queen of Scotts', ' Byzantium', 'Foe', 'The Seagull' and 'How I Live Now' were talked about in this video!..
Well she does mention in the video that she didn't realize all that was going on while filming serious stories like that at a young age, and that she recently tried to watch it but couldn't finish
I'm happy they didn't go over that one. The author of the lovely bones book falsely accused someone who was only recently exonerated after years in prison.
I can not believe The Lovely Bones was not included. Yes it's not the best movie, but Saoirse as SUSIE SALMON is one of the best child performances ever.....
It's nice to see the respect and excitement she has for each of the projects, both as part of the crew and as a movie fan, you can tell she just loves film making 🌟
She's done so many incredible movies that Brooklyn wasn't even mentioned. Such a beautiful and inspired career so far and I can wait to see what she does next.
Agreed, theres no forced breath at all there which I think is present in a lot of actors who do accents- even well done ones, they do not sound as natural as that.
I remember the first time I saw her in Atonement I just knew I was seeing a child who would go on to be a legit iconic actress. She’s just fabulous at her career. So glad we get to have her talent!
Ugh I love her so much. The growth as a person, as an actor, is so apparent. She has so much respect for her craft and I look forward to seeing where her career goes. She’s one of those actors I would love to be best friends with
@@iknowexactlywhoyouare8701 I never even mentioned the 1994 version. Also people can have different preferences for different movies. I loved both versions but the 2019 version appealed to me more.
There's something exceptional and singular about young Irish folks; so wordly and sassy and yet sweet and sensible and the best part is that every one of those parts are genuinely present
I literally had a hyper fixation on her entire filmography at like 15 and I will forever be so appreciative of how she truly loves the art of filmmaking. Also just generally how she uses the influence she has is amazing🙏
how did they not include THE LOVELY BONES?! omg. i know it's not the best film, but her performance as Susie Salmon i think was her best performance as a child.
I love Saoirse! When I first saw her in Atonement, something struck me in the way her eyes conveyed such emotion and gave life to a story getting pieced together in your head. Been a fan ever since
I would empty my bank account to watch Saoirse and Timothee just talk about Lady Bird and Little Women for a few hours. No prompts, just let em yapp away
the way she basically quoted the entire lady bird scene 😭😭 she’s just like me fr
how did they not include the lovely bones?! omg. i know it's not the best film, but her performance as Susie Salmon i think was her best performance as a child.
omg and they did not include BROOKLYN? the movie that lowkey saved her career (after The Host lol) and brought her back to the Oscars
@@abc92800I loved ‘the host’ and ‘Brooklyn’ bored me.
fine I'll rewatch Little Women today
Lala what are you doing here? *nicki Minaj voice* 😂
I literally just finished your 10 year anniversary video and this was my next watch. Thought my comments section hadn't refreshed for a second!

I’m late for 19 hourse 😂😂
She’s definitely a magnificent actor. I can never remember how to pronounce her first name

and yet they didn't even cover lovely bones or see how they run. truly an icon!

She shared that role with two other fantastic actors, and yet she was the most captivating of the three!
She was actually only 12 when she filmed Atonement!! 🤩. And nearly 13 when she was nominated for an Oscar for it!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Saoirse Ronan is just so gifted. Everything I've seen her in she knocks it out of the park. She has been nominated so many times and hasn't won. She will win an oscar. She has to.
I wish ‘Brooklyn’ was mentioned in here as well. I love her and probably everything in that movie so so much.

Yes! And The Lovely Bones.

I love that she appreciates the genius that is Laurie Metcalf.
Same! ❤😊
love them for including Hanna. that breakout scene single-handedly made me her lifetime fan
Still don't know how she hasn't won an Oscar. My absolute favorite actress, such a beautiful person
how humble of her to introduce herself when everybody knows or should know who she is by now. queen tings
It’s the format of the video 😂
The self introduction is in the script love
Thats how introduction should be lmao 😂
not putting the lovely bones on this line up is a crime! life changing movie and one of her best performances (although everything i’ve ever seen her in she’s been absolutely amazing)
Greta , Saoirse and timmy -a masterpiece and iconic
wish there was a couple hours of her going through all her films, I love so many of her performances
Every interview with Saoirse turns into a masterclass in acting and filmmaking, and I can't get enough.
Saoirse is such a fantastic actress. I loved her performance in Little Women
Nah we all know the 1994 version was, is, and always will be superior, okay? Okay.
lady bird is so personal to me i cant be normal about it when its brought up in a conversation 😭😭
So true actually (and with Little Women)
She has to be the best actress of her generation. The fact that she hasn’t won an Oscar yet is criminal. I just love her.

I really wanted to see her talk about How I Live Now!!
I was gonna say surprised the lovely bones wasn’t mentioned considering how big it is
She is such a talented person, the world is better because she's in it. Thank you for putting this together.
I'm always following her career since Atonement because we're the same age, it's nice to see her grow!
I really wanted her to talk about The Lovely Bones, How I live Now, and Brooklyn. Honestly I could watch her talk about her movies for hours.
Not putting The Lovely Bones is so disappointing :'))))
Agree, I was hoping for Brooklyn, too!
a crime, really

Cillian Murphy and Saoirse Ronan NEED to make a movie together immediately!!!!🩵🩵
She so genuine I like her interviews they feel like listening to a close friend.
Atonement is a magnificent film, and Saoirse was a revelation in it. Absolutely held her own amongst the rest of the great cast at such a young age.

Lady bird filmed at my high school while I was in attending. That’s my favorite fun fact about myself lol
Love what Saoirse brings to her roles. Her light in versus the dark in Lovely Bones still haunts me

Lady Bird was everything! One of my all time faves. It definitely deserved the Oscar Nom
She was nominated for Best Actress for Lady Bird but sadly, didn’t win.. 😢
