I think this sounds like a nice mattress if I was to need one in the guest bedroom, but I'm pretty sure I would pass on it for myself as I would want something with more support and probably a little bit higher quality mattress.
I was just going to say this would be a good mattress for kids. I think Casper missed the mark for adults, especially with the pressure issues when you sleep on your side and back. Definitely a good value for the children. Not a mattress for me.

Hello! If it's a thicker comfort layer, it would actually cause me to sink in further, but it does depend on the material. If its memory foam, I would sink into the mattress pretty far. If it was a 4" latex comfort layer, I would barely sink in.
The Casper Element sounds a to "elemental" - ok, not a great joke, but actually I think I would like to have a little more in a mattress than the Casper Element has to offer. I don't think it si the best buy for an older married couple such as we.

The element wouldn't be a choice for me as a heavier side sleeper, if I had to choose I would go with the original Casper
The Element is great for what it is. Its affordable, and like you said, probably best for kids or guests.
Seems like a decent fit for lighter back and stomach sleepers for a good price
As a stomach sleeping I feel as if this would be a good choice for me. I might look into the mattress a little more.

My boyfriend is a stomach sleeper so this would be good for him. Not for me though. I am not sure.
I do not like the new look of this mattress. It does not look as soft as the original. It seems like it might not sleep as cool either.
With a bad back memory foam mattresses do not work well for my needs. SO while this looks good for my kids, I'll pass for myself.
