Valley Eagle UP 844 Northbound through College Station

The Union Pacific Valley Eagle is returning from its trip to Harlingen (celebration of Harlingen's centennial) and passing through the campus of Texas A&M University. The clip ends with the train taking Number 2 main track for the trip up the Bryan sub to Hearne.
The audio is HORRIBLE (wind noise) but that is what you get if you hold the video cam out the window of a moving train!

Years ago an SP conductor told me he had been a brakeman on probably the last football special from Houston to Kyle Field & return. SP reluctantly ran the train. Strict orders from the official in charge told the crew once the game was over & train loaded & moving, don't stop for latecomers. A tardy couple was running to get on & the brakeman alerted the engineer to stop & the couple made it. He nearly got a royal chewing out but trip organizers saw what was happening & distracted the official.
