    Love this terrarium. The cacti look stunning...even though they are not right for the climate inside the terrarium. However, if you still want to use cacti this way, I think you could drill air holes in the pyramid so that moisture can escape. Wonderful idea!

    This turned out so nice. Did you use a mask while working with epoxy resin?

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  3 роки тому

      Thank you. No I didn’t, I would not recommend working without a mask but sometimes I cheat. My mask is a full face mask and I have to take my glasses off. For this I Really needed to be able to see what I was doing.

      Thank you. That idea would work but it would make the inner mould sit lower so the finished pyramid would be smaller. I really wanted to fill the resin to the full height of the outer mould.

      I buy all my resin online. All details should be in the product description and if they are not I don’t buy it.

    I'm surprised to see you still using a torch. THAT is what ruined the bad pyramid molds you used in this video. No matter how careful you try to be with a torch, it WILL RUIN YOUR MOLD! NEVER USE A TORCH!!! That message was for newer resin people who don't know yet. I learned the hard way, and many other resinistas teach it in their videos. Beautiful work, as always, Louise!

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  3 роки тому

      I know what you are saying but you came to that conclusion without knowing the facts. I used my torch once, for a split second on the lowest setting (also the mould didn’t stick). I ruined my other mould not by torching but by over filling the resin and it overheated during the curing process.

    • @MileyonDisney
      @MileyonDisney 3 роки тому

      @@LouiseSingletonCreations I was pretty sure I remember an older video where you ruined a pyramid mold with a torch and even mentioned that it was ruined in the video. i watch so many videos, it could have been someone else. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - you are the Queen of the Pyramids.

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  3 роки тому

      @@MileyonDisney you are absolutely correct, I have done that in the past but I was talking about this instance, I’ve learned from my mistakes and if I do use a torch now it is minimal. Thank you for your kind words.

    Oh yay!!! Here is it, thank you! 😊 It’s amazing! This is definitely on my project list.
    I have a question/suggestion. Here is the link to a large pyramid mold (it’s the one I have): smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HMKMY2Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    It comes with two of the molds and one frame. Can’t we use that second mold to make a hollow pyramid easily? Suspend it a little above and pour the resin around it? Know what I mean?

    • @LouiseSingletonCreations
      @LouiseSingletonCreations  3 роки тому

      Thank you for the link. Aliexpress also do one with two moulds. There is a link in my storefront for replacement moulds too. Yes what you said is right, if you don’t have an old damaged mould like I did you can just use a new one.
