Hi "Darthy" ;-) , great video...I have never seen better pyramid-projects than yours...the idea of making it hollow is just fantastic (saves material and weight )...Hi from Germany :-)
This is beautiful. I absolutely love watching your videos! You come up with so many fantastic ideas. I really wish I could hang out with you and have you show me some pointers. Keep coming with those ideas.
Only you could turn a mistake into something so beautiful. I love your pyramid boxes, when you post them do you also pack in bubble wrap and another box ? I was wondering how I need to package resin jewellery for posting, does it need a box to keep it from being damaged ? Only just started with resin and I am hooked ! I was always too nervous to try it thinking how complicated it was but watching videos on UA-cam has made me realise that resin is very versatile. You are all so generous sharing your time and experience. Many thanks xx
Thank you so much. Yes, lots and lots of bubble wrap after the box. Bubble wrap directly against resin can mark it so that’s one reason why I designed the box. Another option to protect the resin is glassine paper. Resin is not half as scary as people think. You just need to go for it . Expect and accept the mistakes because they will happen but you will learn something every time.
Omg this is a wonderful idea Louise singleton, you are so clever, you could maybe resin the hinges on instead of screws! I love it 🥰 thank you so much for sharing, I love your work, you have inspired me so much with these pyramids, thank you, I love your boxes as well.
All of your creations are so wonderful! Have you thought of making a permanent barrier out of silicone to use so you don’t have to keep making them for each hollow pyramid?
Sorry if I have confused you! I uploaded the wrong flipping video the first time so this is the second upload! Senior moment!
I thought I was having a senior moment! 😁
Honestly, I had a hot flush when I realised I had uploaded the unedited version!

to use

This is just gorgeous! I make pyramids but I would not attempt this project... It’s for one expert I know!! bravo!!!
watched it again, as you do, and thought the screw marks would go away with a bit uv resin in the holes I think. Worth a try.
It came out so pretty

I swear you are psychic! I have just scheduled a video (1st June) in which I do exactly what you just said!
Realmente precioso!
Thank you very much xx
I wonder if silicone would’ve worked where you used the plaster? Maybe be able to reuse it?
Yes it definitely would. I recently did that in my terrarium video and it worked really well.
Love your work. Would putting a little resin in screw holes before the screw make the holes less noticeable?
That’s a very good idea! I must try it. Thank you x
Do you dry your flowers in a food dehydrator?
No I use silica gel. The small flowers were purchased already dried the large one was hung upside down to air dry.
Maybe glue the hinges on
It’s so gorgeous I’m going to make one ☝️
May I ask, how long dose deep cast take to go of, as i need it to be workable for some time ? Thanks for any help x
It takes a looooong time! I would say around two days minimum.
Thank you for you reply, I have an idea and need a long working time. Thank you so much, love heating what you come up with x Sue x
How do you cut plexiglass without it cracking? It always cracks on me
I find that if I get the 1mm sheets it usually behaves but I do have occasional issues with the thicker stuff cracking
Try silicone next time for filler maybe that will pop off the bottom part of the mood easier.
It would have been loads easier I agree but I didn’t have enough silicone at the time.
AM-AZ-ING!
what is the actual size of the mold I am in australia
Its 15x 15x15cm
Lol. I was wondering where the comments went when I went to check a reply🙃✌🏼
Very well done!
