Moj tata jezdzi prawie 20 lat na gabarytach wszystkie swoje wakacje i ferie spedzilam z nim w tirze. Wspaniale wspomnienia. Zawsze mialam najwiecej do opowiedzenia po powrocie ze szkoly. Ale sam w sobie zawod bardzo ciezki meczacy odpowiedzialny. Tez chcialam byc pilotem ale teraz mam swoja rodzine i nie wyobrazam sobie wyjezdzac na tak dlugo poza dom.
A very good job of driving in convoy. Driving in a convoy isn't easy. I have never done that, I drove trucks between 1972 and 1974 from Nebraska to Atlantic coast cities. Enjoyed riding with you Iwona. Thank you for the good video. Be well.

Looks to me like she handles her rig pretty good. I got tickled when she was trying to load the Bob truck on her trailer and it kept sliding back down the ramps. Been pulling a reefer 29 years here in the U.S.A. good luck and keep enjoying the road where ever it may lead you

Jesus Christ, my blood ran cold at 12:33 when the convoy passes the sign on the right... It looks like a person is falling in front of the sign, on to the road! It's just artefacts from the video encoding, but... my heart is still racing.
+DDG man... there are a lot of freakin tunnels in Austria.. I would be worried about driving in them, in a big rig... Iwana is such a lovely person, I've never met anyone like her, not even close to it.... I need to learn Polish :-D

It's not, actually. It's an encoding artefact carry-over. (During video compression, some data is usually thrown out and is hopefully un-noticeable. In this case, its noticeable.)

I hope I am speaking to the driver? Just to say a huge thank you for the filming, very interesting to see how when there is such a maybe 1km convoy you are all talking to each other all the time.
I found it odd when you said you were pleased (or something similar) when someone spoke English! I live in London UK so would have loved English to have been the first language, though something like this, once you start driving there is no need for any communication with an ‘Audience really.’ Oh by the way, when I or should I say ‘we’ see your hair to a man it looks just fine, exactly as we would expect of someone doing a job of work and filming and chatting to us and the other trucks drivers. Thank you once again.

If you ever have a front tire blow out you will understand a third reason why two hands on steering wheel are important. Enjoyed the video. Good job and good luck. My neck hurts too so I feel your pain.
Hi Iwona,
first of all you've done a god job from my point of view, but ... there are several things you have to learn.
Keeping distance in a convoy is important but your distance sometimes was to big. You have to shorten the distance (maybe it looks different between video and real!) to the vehicle in front of you.
Try to keep your speed on one level if possible. It'll save fuel and it doesn't turn down the speed of the hole convoy.
For me you've driven to often in the middle of the road (except the tunnels), you where only high but not wide.
Keep your wheels always on the road!!

I dont know anything about truck but I work in logistic field here in the USA, loading Un-loading trucks, I come a cross with few Canadians witch I have enjoy working with them they are friendliest people. They are not arrogant like North Americans. I have enjoy you work and I have seeing all you post. Excellent video Iwona!! Your driving is outstanding. Hauling oversized loads can be stressful, however you eventually get used to it. I did it for 8 years here in the states, therefore I understand how you feel. Hope to see you here, preferably in New Jersey, where I live!! LOL!!

Zawsze, kiedy jestem zmuszony spać blisko autostrady to używam korków do uszu. Na początku trochę przeszkadzały, ale można się przywyknąć. Cały karton kosztuje grosze, a wystarcza na wiele nocy. Pozdrawiam.

ok little comment on 13.08: in austria and germany you need a routengenehmigungssign which is yellow sign on theback of the truck and a routengenehmigung that says where you are allowed todrive , when you have both of them and drive the route that is on the routengehmigung you dont need to care about other things. notifications of the police are not the drivers bussines but the pilot does this, in case you have a routengehmigung without pilot the just drive:)

Hi Iwona Blecharczyk I have suggestion. I think it will be much better if you replace position of the dashboard camera to be behind of your back. So the viewer will be seeing your driving alongside with the road.

Indeed. And european truckers have to communicate and get the work done in 3-5 different languages ! (though only 3 languages in this video) Much better than using the effort for being a jerk and foul mouth in your native language only. :)
