The sound of a Mack air starter or any air starter brings back memories of a past life. They are almost a forgotten sound and not to mention a real twin stick quad. Be very few drivers out there who could change gears without a few teeth nathing? Great vid thanks from Brisbane.
Sounds like you have some great memories Gregory, those things you mentioned are alive and well here. The Quadbox is certainly a rare animal these days. I will be doing a video soon with a couple of different trucks I have here with quads. Stay tuned mate, thanks again 🙏🏻
@oldrigsdownunder7301 great love watching an exp driver operate a twin stick with skill. Makes most people driving on a road look very ordenary. I had limited exp with a twin and appreciate a good driver. Can repair them though.

You can customize the hood where the hood can open from the front. Look how your truck setup is. This should make it easier to work on the engine .
This one doesn’t have to go back to work for a living so the new owner will keep it as an original steel front.

On old American gear like this, sae is the weapon of choice. Some of the later model Macks use metric bolts which can be frustrating
