Oh wow. I never realised why aimlabs told me that i had left side weakness. I tested this out and turns out i am quite tilted to the side, i guess thats why aimlab told me that (its not accurate most of the time but that one recommendation is the only consistent one in every scenario) Thanks a lot Kim
Its interesting seeing how much of this (and your whole channels content really) roughly (sometimes even near exactly) translates to other forms of "accuracy testing" such as, Archery. Ive shot compound bow for a while now, and a lot of the same habits and practices seem to help with mouse aiming. Now at first this would seem off the wall, but if you look closer you start to see the similarities. Such as, when an archer sets up to take that shot for that gold medal (just an example) hes thinking about his training, his stance, his "aim" and falling into the right "stance" for muscle memory and "feeling" out the shot more than actually "aiming" as many would assume. Yes hes looking down range lining up his sights with the bullseye of course, but hes also feeling out almost every muscle in his body, making sure hes in the perfect standing position, the perfect draw pattern, the perfect spot to draw the string to their face (called an anchor point) to repeat that perfect "10" shot placement he/shes done so many times in practice. Its much the same with mouse aim, and FPS gaming. You want to sit, feel the right position, IF your chair is a half an inch off, you notice. If your keyboard is an inch to the left too far, you notice, If your hand isnt on your mouse perfectly...your monitors height.... This is all muscle memory. Very much the same as the archer or whatever other professional would tap into.
Great idea will definitely give this a go. Started using aimlab 2 weeks ago and already seen a big improvement. I've also been trying to be conscious of my body positioning and finding something that works for me and sticking to it. Seen my score in gridshot go from 4.5k to 7.5k so far. My tracking is another story though 😅
I fucked up my aim to the point where i cant aim. I tried to change my grip and mouse and then i got into this deep rabbithole of copying pro players mousegrips and sensivities, this was like a year ago and over this time i have devoloped some of the most bad habits you can imagine and now i cant play any game... i dont even know how to hold my mouse now bc everything feels unnatural. Does anybody knows what can i do ???
Stop thinking so much! One thing I like to do is grab my mouse with my eyes closed and go with what feels right from there. Remember it takes about 2-3 weeks to re adjust muscle memory.
It's like @Moises Torres told... stop thinking and just train hard, with time you will get better... And stop trying to copy people, just train without thinking, let your body adapt, this take time, isn't a grip or sensitivity that will make you better, this just adds anxiety and slower your progress, because this makes you want faster gains in a small time, and this wont work... Just train consistently everyday without think to much, just try hard and doing the best without thinking, with time you will get better and better.
This is how I think as well when I was aiming , really good video . BTW I really wanna stream at discord to you about how I grip my mouse from last time to now and the problem I having and after I watched your video what I changed and hope can seek some advice for you . Are you able to do that ?
crosshair placement is one of the most important things in fps, especially tac fps like val csgo r6 ect. The idea is that better crosshair placement means less movement and room for error, if your crosshair placement is bad, then you have to move more to get your crosshair on target which takes longer and have a higher chance to miss as well. This is a gameplay mechanic and skill that you need to develop too, if your enemy has better placement youre going to be at a disadvantage, the only way to do better against them is to get better crosshair placement yourself, otherwise you need to be much much more mechanically skilled aimwise to win a gunfight when they barely have to move your crosshair and you have to flick across half your screen. TL;DR you need to get better crosshair placement too, theres more to gunfights than just mechanical aim.
Good advice! But I do have a general question with body form, everytime I do a Y-Axis/X-Axis moveement my mouse always ends up off from the center of my screen. I don't really know how to fix this so a bit of advice could help.
If I understand correctly, you mean your horizontal/sideways swipes on your mouse aren't actually moving your crosshair horizontally? Cause I had that problem and it turned out to be because of my mouse grip; the right side hump on my ergo mouse was too big for my liking so I shifted my mouse grip to compensate. Ended up holding the mouse in a way that it wasnt "straight".
Mouse center of gravity. Depending on your mouse shape, weight and weight distribution. Certain grips in combination with the mouse design might also lead to inconsistent movement as the mouse will micro rotate and so on. Mouse might be heaviest at the back behind the sensor and so on. Try a different grip or ultimately a different mouse (extreme).
Ron i’ve got a question when it comes to cold hands, i would aim train for around 30 minutes everyday to warm up, but around halfway through a competitive match my hands will become cold causing me to play noticeably worse. If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.
look up "violin hand stretches", You'll thank me later haha. I had a similar issue for months and it didn't stop until I implemented a stretch routine. Wearing double layers of socks/sweats/etc. seems to help a bunch too! Implement hand stretches between matches/rounds and you'll be golden!
is it ok that i practice with low sensitivity? even tho i use high sensitivity and the opposite? Like let's say apex or valorant, I have fairly high sensitivity, so is it ok that I can practice on that low range
Another thing i wanted to ask was that i was playing with my friends mouse which was a lot heavier ( around 240 gram ) even though i was having problem aiming the recoil felt significantly less than my main mouse ( 120 grams )
I have gotten good advice before from you but this is kind of very wrong. What you are defining neutral for you is slanted for someone else. You are being very rigid with the concepts too much in your head. What you described neutral to you relative to someone with a 45 degree slant is extremely slanted and who is to say who is right about this. If I see you in a car i see you moving at 40mph , but if I ask you you could say you are perfectly stationary in relation to the driver. What about the rotation of the earth , are you moving or stationary ? What about the rotation around the sun, or the moving the the whole whole galaxy. It's all relative , your plane of perspective is just that . So this concept doesn't hold to scrutiny of neutral or not. Because it involves human anatomy brain wiring, positioning we can't really say.
what about kovak's raw accel driver. Can u give some info i using it sometimes and sometimes i think "it can't be good on long time use" thanks if u answer that.

Do you have any tips for fighting against good pre aimers ? How do you beat them when their crosshair is already at your head ? Any tips ._.

Don't play right after using aim lab. Maybe like, train on AIMLAB in the morning and after a couple of hours, play your FPS game

is it ok that i practice with low sensitivity? even tho i use high sensitivity and the opposite? Like let's say apex or valorant, I have fairly high sensitivity, so is it ok that I can practice on that low range
no, it'll mess up your muscle memory. fix to one sensitivity and stick to it (use conversions for other games)

Brilliant video. Really made me reconsider keeping my wrist tilted for long periods of time in games.
I use to aim my wrist with high sens in WZ and seems like it's a mistake. Thanks for the guide
looking into seeing you breakdown/explain tenz's mouse grip. its weird and not that common but im 100% sure valorant players would also be interested.
