This is incredible. Crazy to think of all thats happened in the last 100 years and that there's still people around to tell the tales first hand. Your grandpa is awesome! I was smiling the whole interview. Stay blessed g'pa Corio

You have given me so much insight to my own outlook to life tonight. . . Thankyou for that. Sometimes when you are searching the web for a simple answer from god you get it in many ways. Your blog gave me that answer tonight thankyou . Just to be ourself. Bless you

Phil is one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. A few years back, he gifted me with a beautiful handmade cutting board as well as a birdhouse. I still cherish them! Happy Birthday, Phil! 🎉 ❤️
What a wonderful and amazing family. The grandpa is so blessed. He can remember everything his granddaughter asked him. Good job beautiful and amazing granddaughter. God bless your entire family members. I am so surprised that at the age of 108 he can survive Covid-19! This is unbelievable! May Almighty God continue to watch over him and keep him.
I love hearing advise, memories and overall history from the elderly..As I watched other vids of the elderly , yours popped up w your grandfather. Loved hearing and watching every bit of it; seeing all your workout vids was the cherry on top as I love working out to UA-cam vids... new subbie.. thank you and God bless you all !!!
Never retire keep on moving dont think about the age just go on and go on and eat good no worries about marrying not always a bed of roses as long as you know how to handle life being married ❤️🇸🇽🇺🇸
Granddad Phil Corio, 105 years old, Interviewed by Granddaughter Katie Corio and family you guys are lucky lucky lucky people. Do make similar videos regularly. We all need to be reminded, in our intolerant society, this blessing to enrich each other's lives.
Such a lively guy and how considerately you´re talking to him. We should cleverly spend much more time with people his age. So much to learn from them. I honor you for the great vibes. Thanks for sharing, Katie.
Shes adorable. I love how she is so sweet to her grandpa. Being so lovely towards the elderly is a beautiful thing. I really enjoyed this video. The pasta making was cool and made me hungry and the inteview was awesome. Great job to both interviewer and interviewee!
She is not sweet to her grandpa. She did to get views and subscribers. Her constant touching of hair is suggesting that she despised talking to the old man.
The smile and joy in his eyes show how happy he is to be alive and with his family. After watching a few interviews with people over the age of 100, they all say that the best "thing" in life is their family. A great reminder for me in the midst of covid. Thank you for sharing! What a blessing!
Your grandpa is, by far, the most interesting man in the world. I absolutely loved your interview with him. My grandpa grew up in northern New Mexico on the mountains. I used to love hearing his stories about growing up as an orphan, building houses and churches as a child and providing for his family with his bare hands by ranching and farming. I wish I had recorded his stories before his passing, but the memories will forever be engrained in my mind.
OH MY GOSH KATIE!!!! Your grandfather is an amazing person!!!! He shared such neat stories and now you will have them forever. I'm very impressed at how well he is doing, he's an incredible person!!!
Mari Laucher 👍🏻 good to know you’re doing okay for in a time like this it’s important we look after each other for the negative news of trump, earthquakes and global warming they flood the internet and the media with on a daily bases is enough to make one sick, feels like the sky is falling Btw I’m Morgan live from Bakersfield California You? Where are you from
Curious if your grandfather is still alive in 2019? It's a blessing to have grandparents around as long as possible and to hear their stories. My grandfather lived to 98 when he passed in 2015. He told a doctor that the secret to his longevity was to choose your ancestors very wisely ... I think there are a number of things that contribute to longevity, and your precious grandfather mentioned one of them...a simple, mostly plant based diet. My grandfather also grew up eating from gardens, milk cow, and eggs from his mother's chickens. Family was really important to him too, and was drank alcohol in moderation and did not smoke....their you go - simple formula
@@mikeb1031 thank you ....One of my friends is from Costa Rica where one of the blue zones is located. She grew up on a diet of beans, rice, and all the vegetables that could eaten from her mother's garden. Meat was consumed by her family in extreme moderation because they were poor. If one looks at the commonalities among blue-zone centenarians, one will see a theme . Ellsworth Wareham, MD was a 7th Day Adventist surgeon, that lived to 104 . He was a vegetarian his entire life. Keep in mind that Katie's grandfather and my grandfather grew up during the depression and a time when food was not processed and laden with chemicals and meat was at a premium. So my thoughts are that a moderate lifestyle, among other things, certainly can contribute to a long life...Their longevity is EVIDENCE of that. I am not sure what evidence Derpy is basing his comment on other than it is something that he read somwhere or viewed on a youtube. In spite of all that, my comment really wasn't designed to be a pissing match of plant based vs. meat eaters...silly, silly So really, bottom line, bless Katie and her grandfather and Blessed Memory to my own grandfather
he is so charming and lovable :) enjoyed listening to him narrating his journey of life, it's inspiring. I wish, he keeps going strong for many years to come!
This is the sweetest thing ever😭❤ My great grandma lived to be over 100 and definitely didn't have the same quality of life as he does-- your family is so blessed 🙏
@@travelinman617 Yes they all are. Im on one right now and am desperately trying to get off Luckily im on a healthy diet, exercise, and drink plenty of water. If i didnt i think my health would be alot worse.
Excellent point. The best thing I ever did was stop taking the 3 meds I was poisoning myself with. Prescription drugs are the #1 killer in this country. A little food for thought. Be well everyone.
What a treasure. And here we are worried about the small things, like not earning enough to get married, being too old to get married etc. And hearing him talk about his life history, just tells us we are doing a-ok
What a sweet interview. There needs to be more of this going on. Gathering the wisdom of our elders and seeing that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Eat Whole Foods, don’t smoke and keep breathing. Thanks for posting this and happy Birthday Mr. Corio.
We all need to remember how family is important. Love each other and stop getting divorced. Honor our parents. God bless this family and the good memories and good pasta. We enjoyed you sharing your grandpa with us. It made me feel happy to be in your home tonight on UA-cam!
This makes me so happy and sad at the same time. It will be 1 year on the 13th of march since my grandfather passed away from leukaemia, i miss him so much and the times we would share together. This is beautiful
i remember one my favorite stories of my first independent day of my country of Albania in 28 november 1912 told by my great grandpa which was 106, and hearing him speaking reminded me how much beautiful and wonderful is to listen stories of the past , live longer grandpapa, may God bless you ;)
How to live long: 1. eat less. 2. move more 3. live in congruency (i.e. let your personal beliefs and actions always align) 4. have an overriding life goal, and be dedicated to it 5. keep learning, reading and teaching others 6. forgive easy. don't sweat the small stuff 7. walk with the Ancient of Days
SuperbChannel Yes eat less,I got a thin dog Jack Russel...he’s a 112 in dogs years and runs around like a 2yr old. Eat less...walk more...try and be happy...keep learning...have a animal in your life . Have a belief system ...a higher realm to converse with. Being unhappy will kill you quicker then anything.
Oh! So nice so good!! Coming across your grandpa God bless your grandpa take carr of him you ar such a sweet grand daughter wish u and grandpa good health, bye!!!
YodaVon .VaderWalker bullshit most longest lived people smoked or still smoke. Even within my family. You sound like those low carb anti dairy goofballs.
@@cornstar1253There is a clear link between over smoking and lung cancer. One who smokes for 30 to 40 yrs are also at risk of getting TB (tuberculosis). Smoking in moderation is okay but how long one lives depends on his or her karma or cause and effect (based on past lives) which pre-programs an individual's mindset and situations and circumstances. If you are hard wired to self destruct, you eventually die eg heavy drinkers die from cirrhosis. if you are a balanced person, still you could die due to some rare disease (which does not have a direct cause) or accident. It all boils down to an individual's pre-programmed karma or cause and effect based on past lives.

Coronavirus is a hoax. He won’t get affected by it.
His immune system was up to the job.
He probably doesn’t watch the news.
What a character. Granddaughter is so beautiful.
My grandpa died when he was 109. Glad yours still alive. God bless him
I love hearing advise, memories and overall history from the elderly..As I watched other vids of the elderly , yours popped up w your grandfather. Loved hearing and watching every bit of it; seeing all your workout vids was the cherry on top as I love working out to UA-cam vids... new subbie.. thank you and God bless you all !!!
This is the sweetest interview I have ever seen.
BEST VIDEO EVER!!!!!! Your grandpa is full of wisdom!!! God Bless
Such a lively guy and how considerately you´re talking to him. We should cleverly spend much more time with people his age. So much to learn from them. I honor you for the great vibes. Thanks for sharing, Katie.
Your grandfather Phil is quite a bright man, he's totally amazing. Boy, he makes homemade pasta, WOW.
Bless ya.
To Monte Wolfe, get a life
aww he totally lights up when he starts talking about your grandma 😍
Connie Bea how old he was when passed away ? Which year was it ?
He’s turning the wheel faster than I could 😂 your grandpa is great.
OMG...This video with Grandpa just made my day. Thank you Katie for sharing🙏
OH MY GOSH KATIE!!!! Your grandfather is an amazing person!!!! He shared such neat stories and now you will have them forever. I'm very impressed at how well he is doing, he's an incredible person!!!
The cutest grandpa in the whole world. You are his pride and joy.
Mari Laucher

How are you doing by the way
@@morganderrick6912 Good thanks.
Mari Laucher 👍🏻 good to know you’re doing okay for in a time like this it’s important we look after each other for the negative news of trump, earthquakes and global warming they flood the internet and the media with on a daily bases is enough to make one sick, feels like the sky is falling
Btw I’m Morgan live from Bakersfield California
You?
Where are you from
Such a sweet relationship between grandfather and granddaughter
can't stop smiling your grandpa is the cutest!! bless his heart 😍thx for sharing this
Curious if your grandfather is still alive in 2019?
It's a blessing to have grandparents around as long as possible and to hear their stories. My grandfather lived to 98 when he passed in 2015. He told a doctor that the secret to his longevity was to choose your ancestors very wisely ...
I think there are a number of things that contribute to longevity, and your precious grandfather mentioned one of them...a simple, mostly plant based diet. My grandfather also grew up eating from gardens, milk cow, and eggs from his mother's chickens. Family was really important to him too, and was drank alcohol in moderation and did not smoke....their you go - simple formula
Lilee Lisa Mc. Plant based diet is the worst for longevity!
@@animalspirit77 lol, absolutely not. Blue Zones are 95% plant based and they are the longest living people in the world
@@mikeb1031 thank you ....One of my friends is from Costa Rica where one of the blue zones is located.
In spite of all that, my comment really wasn't designed to be a pissing match of plant based vs. meat eaters...silly, silly
So really, bottom line, bless Katie and her grandfather and Blessed Memory to my own grandfather
@@mikeb1031 they arent 100%. So you agreed.
@@lileelisamc.4722 she was poor and lived in an area that was known for longevity. They also weren't 100% herbivore.
he is so charming and lovable :) enjoyed listening to him narrating his journey of life, it's inspiring. I wish, he keeps going strong for many years to come!
Man, the tools he used also old school. His granddaughter is pretty too. God bless u and ur grandpa.
This is the sweetest thing ever😭❤ My great grandma lived to be over 100 and definitely didn't have the same quality of life as he does-- your family is so blessed 🙏
He's lived this long because he's basically on no medications
Good comment very well said
This is true. Almost everyone today is on some form of medication(s) which is why people are dropping off like flies.
@@Christrulesall2 yes exactly medicine is chemicals
@@travelinman617 Yes they all are. Im on one right now and am desperately trying to get off Luckily im on a healthy diet, exercise, and drink plenty of water. If i didnt i think my health would be alot worse.
Excellent point. The best thing I ever did was stop taking the 3 meds I was poisoning myself with. Prescription drugs are the #1 killer in this country. A little food for thought. Be well everyone.
Wishing this Man , happiness and health and a long long long life, sending lots of love to you and the familly.
How could anybody not like this video? I almost died of cuteness.
Probably peple who dont like it arree jealous. They are looser in their life thats why they are jealouss. This video is so nice
Corio.
I don't know any secret for living long life . God loves him.
This gave me the feels..... wish my grandpa was still alive. Bless you, sweetheart
Congo Nguyen me too, I have actually never seen my grandpa as he died so young at 50. Really miss him.
He's more active and agile than a lot of 20 somethings... She's so beautiful.
Your grandfather is so adorable, happy belated birthday to him. The pasta looked so good 👌
What an incredible video, so touching, you are a precious grand daughter. Hes lucky to have you, and you him. Your blessed ♡
You are so loving and respectful to your Grandpa. You also favor your grandpa.
"And going strong" absolutely awsome!
We all need to remember how family is important. Love each other and stop getting divorced. Honor our parents. God bless this family and the good memories and good pasta. We enjoyed you sharing your grandpa with us. It made me feel happy to be in your home tonight on UA-cam!
Beautiful. Great you did this. God bless you. I had a grandpa was born in 1900 a great friend. Lived until 96.
This video was so precious, it brightened my week!
This makes me so happy and sad at the same time. It will be 1 year on the 13th of march since my grandfather passed away from leukaemia, i miss him so much and the times we would share together. This is beautiful
sorry for your loss sweetheart
God bless your Grand dad.
i remember one my favorite stories of my first independent day of my country of Albania in 28 november 1912 told by my great grandpa which was 106, and hearing him speaking reminded me how much beautiful and wonderful is to listen stories of the past , live longer grandpapa, may God bless you ;)
I loved this video. Your grandpa is adorable. So nice you still have him around and making all that pasta!!
I like you
The people from Western Europe are pretty tough, and they tend to have good genes too. Give him a big hug everyday!
What an amazing man hes is so lovely, what a memory and sense of humour love him x x x
Awwwww so heartbreaking when he spoke about his late wife, you can tell he must have loved her.
How to live long:
1. eat less.
2. move more
3. live in congruency (i.e. let your personal beliefs and actions always align)
4. have an overriding life goal, and be dedicated to it
5. keep learning, reading and teaching others
6. forgive easy. don't sweat the small stuff
7. walk with the Ancient of Days
Are you for real im too busy living. Takes up all my time.
No smoking!
Oh! So nice so good!! Coming across your grandpa God bless your grandpa take carr of him you ar such a sweet grand daughter wish u and grandpa good health, bye!!!
Granddad is so lovely, he's like a child..
"I don't need and anchor" "Don't smoke" & "keep breathing". Best advices EVER.
YodaVon .VaderWalker bullshit most longest lived people smoked or still smoke. Even within my family. You sound like those low carb anti dairy goofballs.
Mick9
Lung cancer, Google it.
YodaVon .VaderWalker
You missed out two more things. He said I kept off sugar and ate lot of broccoli
well, my grandfather smoked a lot every day of his life and lived to 93 years old. and was perfectly functional until just 2 months before dying.
Hi katie. You are so sweet for you to have a quality time for your grandfather. A thumbs up and Love and respect from philippines! So sad for molly Costa!
He looks amazing for his age! What a blessing!!
Incredible his mind is still sharp God bless him enjoy him not many of the true old timers left. Thanks for sharing him. I really enjoyed it.
Nothing makes a grandparent more happy than their grand kids wanting to spend time with them and listen to their stories.
This absolutely melted my heart, katie! This is something you're going to cherish for the rest of your life. My mom wants me to interview my grandparents as well and I just think it's the sweetest idea. Thanks for sharing this! What a sweet man you've got in your life! ❤
