Great video. I would also add using an auto align tool to fix the phase issues inherent in layering. Makes a big difference imho. Looking forward to more vids.

You say that you haven't touch the actuall drum kit, but you have? I got completely different settings when I open up the exact preset kit you are using. If I for example look at the snare on the preset I can see that u changed the top/bottom.
